Default foolish fears

Hi I am new here, but my thoughts are very much out of fear. See my husband and I have been on a spiritual path for a little time now. We have a little girl and one on the way. Right now I am not sure how to feel. He has been able to step up his spiritual awareness more than what I have, mostly because of the little one. He even has gotten into meditation recently. In april he is able to go away to a spritual ambassador and meditation seminar for a week and I will be staying home with the little one. My fear is that he will be so far ahead in his journey that he will drift away from us. I am not sure If I am just being foolish or what. Recently I have began reiki healing, both of us, and I feel that is were my journey, besides a wife and a mom, is leading me. My reiki healer says she can feel great energy from me. Not sure what to feel lately, any thoughts?

I don't think its foolish but I believe you should use your spiritual beliefs to shift your mindset.

If you are spiritual and not religious, excuse me to assume that you believe in the belief of the universe, energy, etc..

As your husband grows his energy changes but he is around you all the time, his energy will effect yours. You two are married with two kids if he out grows you for a little while then it is all part of the journey. Admire his growth, appreciate it and allow his growth (energy) to flow through you. It will have a harder time doing so if you are resisting what is happening.

I would love to speak to you more, if you would like. I love speaking with like minded people and we all have some fears we are working on. Email if you feel like talking more about it.

Each person's spiritual journey is different. Some progress faster, some progress slower. I am sure that your husband is happy having a wife that is spiritually aware. There are not many people you meet who are more spiritually advanced.

You are in a great situation actually. Your partner and you are on the same path (spirituality) whereas so many couples are on totally different paths. One becomes conscious of the truth of life whilst another does not even want to hear about it.

So do not worry about that, you should be happy with your situation. Folow your heart and if you feel that reiki healing is something that you want to pursue, then go ahead.

kenna,

You are the lucky one, because you have the opportunity to experience intuitive spirituality. Opening to be led by yourself.

Here is an example:

When we study, we are told the right or correct way to work with stones or crystals, meditate, use energy, or even medicine wheels. But that stops us listening to what we already know deep inside, which is the goal isn't it? It also fills us with other people's beliefs, which we have too many of anyways.

Several years ago, when I was developing my own intuitive spirituality, I would quiet my mind and then listen, just listen to what I felt was the right way to do things for myself.

I heard wisdom from other times and places, that I had no conscious awareness of, yet later when I looked them up, discovered they were indeed the way of the tribes a long long time ago.

Pick up your stones and just feel, and let you tell you what to do and how to do it. Believe and trust in yourself, because you already know far more than anyone else can teach you -- inside.

You have two precious beings to share this time with. Here is one way you can do it for yourself, and lead yourself.

Energy is easy, you don't need to be taught anything, or think it comes from anywhere other than within you.

Lie your hand on your leg, feel the warmth grow, then when ready lift your hand up and feel with your heart and mind, beyond the physical. Play with it.

There are easy ways to quiet your mind beyond traditional meditation, then you can sit in your own space, place your hand on your stomach or other child, feel the warmth grow, then think of your love for this dear sweet soul, and feel the energy grow within you, then combine the two (physical & spiritual energy) and feel it magnify. Your child will feel it and respond.

It is a precious joy to share love and physical energy with your children. And you will grow far more than during any outside study.

I think you have received the greater gift. Time alone with your 2 children, to experience and play and discover love. That's all personal development really is.

People think spirituality is this out there thing, and make it so complicated. It is not. It is within.

your fear that he will leave will cause you to act in a way that will make him leave. nothing to fear but fear itself.

he who sees through fear will always be safe

allow him to be free and he will have no reason to leave.
