| Cool question. I think there are three levels of being, so there are three levels of getting happy: 1.Being Being = Love = Joy = Abundance = ... Through being present you're getting in a state of joy automatically. You will find out that you ARE joy. See "the power of now". 2.Thinking Shifting your thoughts so you feel best, is another way to get happy: Just find out which thought feels better than the tought you're thinking right now. Than you chose a thought that's even better ... you chose better feeling thoughts till you're in a level of joy. See "Ask and It Is Given" by Esther Hicks. 3.Doing Do things that fulfill you. Dance, laugh, share yourself with the world, have goals that fulfill you. Whatever it is. If you're not sure what fulfills you, start with something you know you like doing and then try to find something that's better. Than then do something that's even better. And so on. After growing you'll find it even easier to reach the state of joy in all the three areas. One of my favourite reasons to grow. |

It is the expression of love that brings me joy. It is knowing that I love others and others love me. It is knowing that we are all connected, yet we all have our own fascinating differences. The other thing that brings me joy is exploring the world and playing with it. It is finding out just how much there is to enjoy. It is learning how much I can accomplish, and discovering what I am capable of.

TO me joy is one of the states of happiness ,just like contentment : I am happy I have my children and they can evoke joy within me but they can evoke a lot of other emotions too I am happy reading a good book but joyous when I feel connected to what the author is saying I could go on and on .. |

Learning and teaching as a continuous cycles brings me joy. Singing brings me joy even though I'm not good at it. Running brings me joy even though I'm not good at it. Breaking free of addictions brings me joy but I can't seem to actually follow through with those. My family brings me joy.

What brings me joy? 1) Driving...being on the road with nothing but my Subaru and some good tunes. Mainly due to the fact that it gives me time to think about things...and who doesn't enjoy a good thinking session? 2) Working my butt off for something and proving to myself that I can do something if I put my mind to it. 3) #1 + Racing = Heaven or atleast on Earth 4) Even though I'm only 22, I LOVE teaching little kids new things...especially my Godson 5) Spending time with friends while enjoying a taste beer (not chugging etc. but enjoying the complexity of the beer) |
