Default Quick question here

Is it better to forgive yourself for allowing something to happen to you? or is it better to forgive the person who did it to you? I feel like I have to do both, but I am trying to figure out if I would be better off forgiving myself first.

You can't force forgiveness. Either you're ready to forgive or you're not. Maybe you're just not there yet, hence your indecision?

Its not that I am not ready... I was thinking about it most the day and wanted to see a little opinion... I just had a great conversation with a friend and it was a pretty major type of conversation that touched on a few things that I need to forgive myself for, and at one point I just got my answer.. I have to forgive myself first... I let a lot of things happen... and I will forgive myself for them. Thanks .G

I am glad you figured out the answer you needed. It is an interesting question but I don't believe there is any ONE universal answer to your question. All the more reason your own answer is the best one.

First accept the reality as it is/was then forgiveness will follow.
