OK this may seem trivial but what the hell! Last year me and my brother bought a PS3, recently I decided I didn't really want to play it any more and my brother agreed to buy it off me, he paid me £135, the £15 extra I should of got was my small percentage so I could still watch my Blu-Ray movies. Well today my brother was out, the TV listing wasn't looking so hot, so I decided to play Call Of Duty 4, I plug it, turn it on, and wouldn't you know it, my brother has deleted my account. With it has gone hours, over a years worth, of playing to get rank, merit, and just for personal reward. Gone. I was furious. I nearly deleted his account. But I didn't. is it fair of me to ask for some sort of compensation in this situation? |

Well, to be fair, it's technically his now, so he's free to do whatever he likes with it. In any case, PS3 rank and merit, like 360 achievements, just isn't worth it in the long run. Letting it go is the best thing to do here.

Hi Xanafax, Considering that your brother actually paid you for your ps, how did you expect your account to be still active? What if you had managed to sell it to a stranger - you wouldn't even know that your account had been deleted. Anger is such a negative emotion - thankfully you did not give in to your first impulse to delete his account. Where is the question of compensation from your brother. And, by the way, were you 'allowed' to use the ps in his absence. Think about it. |

Something like this happened to me when I was younger. I ended up deleting my older brothers account because I got mad at him and I felt so bad that I spent the entire day trying to get all of his stuff back for that game.

Hahahaha, glad you got over it. Reminds me of the time I cried because there was no sour cream for my baked potato. |
