Default How to use EFT to get rid of allergies?

Hi.
I have been studying EFT a bit lately and find it a very useful tool to get rid of my inhibitions and self-limiting beliefs.
In the official texts there are case studies and many mentions of getting rid of allergies with EFT but one is never really told what to do if you want to do it yourself. Can anyone help me out?

I've had a dust allergy for about 10 years now that gets better and worse based on my diet. Wheat flour, yeast and alcohol can really anger it.
Either nasal passage is always blocked and my energy level goes down as the allergy symptoms go up.

I've tried traditional medicine (which has very little on allergies at all aside from anti-histamines) and nutritional therapy but it seems EFT goes to the root of the issue.

Hi,

You could tap on the symptoms and on the feeling that comes up when you're suffering from the allergy

e.g. 'even though my energy levels are low when I have the dust allergy, I deeply and completely accept myself'

'even though I feel X, Y and Z... etc'

Have you had the allergy all your life? Do you remember when it began? You could try to see if there are any events you associate with the allergy and tap on those.

I've heard TAT is very effective for allergies as well.

Btw, a good resource for EFT questions is the EFT forum on tapping.com, There will probably be some threads there about allergies, you could do a search. There are also forums on emofree.com.
