Default Easily distracted (by other people...)

When I try to focus on things that I want I often get distracted, especially by other people's voices and conversations.

Or if not that it's something else.
I just pointed out other people, because I guess that's what gets my attention easily. I tend to give a lot of attention to human behavior and humans in general, so even when there's no people around me I still tend to dwell on what they do, how they live their lives and I even get kinda trapped in their way of thinking.

Got any tips for staying focused?

ps. I should add past/future as maybe even greater distraction, actually. So my question is really general - focus related.

I am the same kind of person. I've temporarily resigned myself to it and am focusing on trying to find the right kinds of people, because then it won't matter as much. Hopefully someone will have some comments on this thread.

Whenever you get distracted, bring your focus back to the task at hand. It is a matter of working on concentration.
