I am not sure if this is the right place for this thread, but what the hay? I had my handwriting analyzed yesterday by someone who does not know me. It was pretty right on in every way. The one thing she did say though that I need to do is to get in touch with the unconscious part of my life. I guess I really do not know how to do that.. although she did suggest trying to remember my dreams.. are there other ways?

Unless we make certain distinctions about who we are, and more importantly WHY we are who we are, what drives us and what makes us think and behave the way we do, then we allow ourselves to be driven by unconscious forces. We will be defined by our environment, our experiences and events that happen in our lives. Perhaps this is what your graphologist was suggesting? By getting in touch with the unconscious part of your life you will become conscious of it and start to take more control over who you are and where your life is going. There's a fantastic book (which I keep banging on about on here, but really, it's superb) called "Awaken the Giant Within" by Tony Robbins which is FULL of distinctions about WHY we are who we are and what we can do to start consciously designing our lives the way we want. It's very practical (not spiritual or 'airy fairy') and I highly recommend reading it. Cheers Paul |

Keep in mind that a lot of these people who do stuff like tarot readings, palm readings, and handwriting analyses are really just doing cold readings on you as an individual, and many people walk away being a perfect example of the phenomenon of remembering everything they said that was true about you and forgetting everything they said that wasn't.

I've never read Tony Robbins' book but it sounds a lot like Eckhart Tolle's "a new earth; awakening to your life's purpose" cuz it talks about, awakening, pretty much, and makes you realize how unconscious we all are until we "wake up" |

garentee, Another way to uncover unconscious thinking is to pay attention to any patterns that you have - 95% of your behavior is unconscious. Notice any patterns that you have around money. When someone talks about a wealthy or rich person, what sort of re-action do you have? What do you say to yourself or picture in your mind? These are clues to your unconscious relationship with money. |
