If you'd like to talk to others who understand what you're feeling, and people who are more accustomed to these kinds of feelings, and maybe even you could offer some help to another person feeling just like you are, this site may provide some form of support for you: http://www.suicideforum.com/ |

I was going to say get rid of that chain... but this is pretty serious, ha? Get help. This Internet forum can only do so much. We aren't experts (speaking for myself) about suicide attempts. You are worth living, you know it but just don't feel it right now. Remember to breathe. |

Speak to someone about what you are feeling. Life might seem bleak right now, but I promise you it can get better, however trapped and alone you feel right now. It's good that you have asked for help and i'm glad you didn't go through with it. Don't suffer alone - talk to someone about what you are going through - please. |

Chado, I hope you took the advice of the others and sought help from professionals. You are in my thoughts and I hope you find the strength within to see your depression as a temporary state, which you can get past. Love D. |

Chado have you asked yourself what your reason for living is? Without a reason to live what's going to make next time different? Call those people that they listed. At the same time take responsibility for your life. You are the only one who has the power to change yourself. So step up, take responsibility and figure out what it is that you want to do with your life. Find a powerful reason to live. This could be anything from becoming a father to living to help others who reach the same point you have. Find your own reason to live and the problem will likely disappear. Surround yourself with friends who support you and lift you up. Don't give into depression. Take care of yourself. |

Chado, I think there's been some good advice on here, call the professionals, talk to someone with who you can express all your feelings uninhibited and if you can, talk to someone who's been there and got through it. The fact that you posted this message proves that you still want to hang in there cause there's something deep inside that's worth living for, even if you don't what it is yet. Good luck man :-)

Hey, If you're ever near Syracuse and want someone to listen to, play with, relax with, be at peace with, please send me a PM and feel free to visit. I have been there before as well, you will honestly - once eventually, your suffering will subside, and you will look at the past as completely insubstantial to what you are experiencing now. Please, for now, just take it one moment at a time. You may feel a mind complexicated problem - that the world is just not worth living in, take a moment and step back from your understanding of the world. How do you do that? By allowing yourself to be, without harmful judgment, simply listen to yourself without judging, no matter how atrocious the feelings you may feel are, you are able to deal with them only if you're present and although it may be extremely difficult to not be taken for by the thoughts, the emotions, the turbulence - it is okay. You are okay. Be a third-person observer on your human form. Ultimately, you are vaster even if right now you may not be able to feel this truth. Steve, Eckhart and many spiritual contemporaries have written on the subject. I highly recommend "The Power of Now," "A New Earth." If you wish to have a copy mailed to you, simply PM me your address. Some online recommendations are Gibran's, "The Prophet" |
