Default empathy ?

Is it learned or embedded in one's self?

I would say a little bit of both!

Depends on the person. Depends on the situation. I would have to say that some people have empathy naturally, while others learn it through experience. I believe all of us has a little empathy, at least, but some choose consciously to develop it and others do not. Same goes with grace.
