Default How do you spend your time?

Point me to the thread if it is already discussed. Is it a power of now question ? I am not sure.

How do you folks spend your mental time? When you are walking, driving, before you sleep, when you get up etc. What do you think about ?

I am 50 year old guy who constantly get sexual thoughts (for the past 10 years). A sexy show/picture/story disturbs my mind. (I am no pervert though. I fantasize mostly about my childhood experiences. I never fantasize about my friends, families or young girls. I have a good married life but not enough sex. I am bit sex starved, I guess. My wife is spiritual type and sex is her least priority).

Because of this, I fantasize a lot on sex, procrastinate on important things, and I am an under achiever in my job. I visit porn sites, read sexual explicit stories/clips and cool down for some time with guilt, shame and self-criticism. I am very unhappy and frustrated with my behavior. This cycle has been going on for long time. I think when ever I am under pressure, boredom, restlessness, I resort to these things. (I do no harm, I volunteer, help, joke, read and ethical).

Is this physiological or psychological? Meaning I am responsible for my thoughts or my body ? What is going on here ? Is there any solution?

I found medical help useless. EFT didn't help since I didn't try whole heartedly. Did anyone passed this type of situation? I want to use my mind productively, effectively and help myself and others.

Apologize if this is inappropriate.

Vickz

This is going to be controversial, but...

You are realizing your balls have been grabbed, twisted, taken out of your sack, and stored forever outside your reach.

Sexual thoughts are perfectly healthy!
In FACT, I would argue that a lack of sexual thoughts is not healthy.

You see, I think it is so deep inside of you, that your head is twisted on what you "as a man" should be.

Nice... all fine in that department.

KEY!
Do you see the "wording" you choose?

You know you can tell a person's reality by the words they choose, right?

Well, why does this "disturb" your mind?!
Why "disturb"??
What is it disturbing?!

Friends, I can understand.
Family, I think it's obvious.
But young girls?!?!!!!

WHY THE HELL NOT?!

As long as you're not an "illegal age" seeker/hunter... WTF does it matter?!

That's PERFECTLY fine for you to want young girls!
WHY not?
WHY?

Ask yourself that question... WHY not fantasize about young girls?!
I'll tell you... a 19 year old will revitalize you with her energy.
It just oozes out from them... amazing really.

My friend, that's like being a little bit pregnant.

You are starved for sex.
Period.

This is a touchy subject, so I'll steer clear.

Gross, that is twisted. Leave the 19 year olds to youngsters like me. They don't want dirty old men.

No, I don't really play computer games that much, but I have heard Halo is good. You probably could 'no-scope' me lol, but from the other side of the map? Would that be possible? Even for a 50 year old veteran like yourself?
