Default My job drains my energy and enthusiasm

It's not that I don't have business ideas, I DO, but I have very little energy to carry them out. I am doing my best, but I only put about 2 hours a week on Sunday nights into my online business. I sit at a computer all day at work doing nothing that I can't bear to look at a computer anymore when I get home. I used to make decent money online, but I was in school when I was doing that and not responsible for rent and stuff so I just kinda let it slide. I wish I still had that income!

I have lots of other ideas I am working on too. I started keeping an idea journal so I don't forget them either. I'd like to write some articles, perhaps produce an e-book, maybe start a blog. I also have some income generating ideas that don't qualify as passive income, but they are FUN and rewarding....I enjoy tutoring math and just started doing that, and am slowly picking up clients.

It is so tough to have the energy to do this though especially my online business which has a lot of potential, but no time & energy for.

I wish I could just leave my job, but I live in an expensive apartment and can't really afford to do so at this time.

I am there right now. My job drains me too. I am going to officailly request to be part-time and work no more than 30 hrs a week. And after that I might try to get early am shifts so I have most of the day to work on my dreams and goals. Too early to say this is a solution but thought I would tell you my idea to fix it. Maybe you need to find how to save money here and their so you can work less if that is possible. For me it was my wife landing her dream job and making more money so I could cut back. Good thing you keep an idea journal. So when the time comes you can try all the idea out. My idea journal is a scrap paper in my wallet. My ideas always come in the strangest places and time. You know I use to always work part-time but felt full-time would be better and now I am caught spending more money and still in the same money situation as when I was part-time. I just have less free time.

Good Luck

Hmm, perhaps rent a cheap room, save money and then get a better job -- perhaps less pay but more meaningful.

I think you should put by some money working at this job. So then you can leave it and concentrate on your on-line ideas only.

So the first task is to save some money for living before your ideas begin to bring you some money.

You need to act strongly if you really want to reach something.
