Default Getting over guilt....need some help with it...

Recently I have been contemplating on why I have left the things I used to love to do, like dancing, going out and friends that I used to hang out with. In particular, I would like to get back into this one hobby I did all the time. Work took over my life about a year ago... How can I get over the guilt of seeing my old friends and engaging in my faviourite pastimes when I feel so guilty about leaving....?

And it is because of guilt... I find it hard to get back into doing the things I used to love... Why is that..? Everytime I wanna engage in some fun... guilt stops me from moving on!

it may be because deep down, you don't feel like you deserve to take care of yourself in that way. why did you get so overly involved with work in the first place?

was it a circumstantial thing where your job's responsibilities legitimately needed your full dedication? or did your work become an outlet for you to mask something inside of yourself?
