please give me some reference of articles about suicide, why people attempt and how the can overcome it.

I can tell you that I have (in the past) been struggling with suicidal thinking. Its a thought that I don't want which sends me into panic when I think those thoughts.

I don't have any articles but I lost my dad to it three years ago, and a close friend a year ago on the 25th. I myself have bipolar and have battled off those thoughts as well.
