| Unfortunately I'm talking about myself. For an extremely long time I've been chasing this idea of creating a life that I'm happy with, most likely influenced by all the various things I've read on sites such as this. However there is a problem with this. What happens to all the things that we dislike? My example is working along with my parents, they don't ask often but I really hate the manual work that they are involved with, creating an extreme amount of resistance. Taking responsibility here is not really my idea of doing something I'm happy with and that usually results in a complete loss in motivation. To what extent is doing what you enjoy good, rather than pure selfishness? Last edited by Sanity Panda : 03-15-2008 at 12:45 AM. |

| A responsible person would first offer a sincere apology and then pay for the damages, either with cash or the equivalent in manhours. |
