Default Sedona Method vs. EFT vs. other techniques

Hello everyone,

I have heard of the Sedona Method and EFT. I just went on the sedona method website and saw that it costs money and a free CD to be delevered to you. My question is does the Sedona Method work better than EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)? What about The Release Technique? Anyone know of any technique better than the three listed here? Can I learn the Sedona Method or The Release Technique without paying any money for them? Also, why doesn't the media discuss these techniques? Why aren't these techniques taught by colleges if they are so successful? I look forward to many responses.

If you want something for free, just get the EFT stuff. If money is less important, get all three and decide for yourself which one works better for you. Personally, I no longer use EFT after having learned the Sedona Method / Release Technique, as these methods work better for me and on a much deeper level. If I had to work with just one of them I'd work with the Release Technique all the time (which really only differs from the Sedona Method in terms of certain techniques / exercises being emphasised).

Default Sedona Method vs.EFT vs other methodes and techniques

I have used both EFT and the Sedona Method and I graduated from Sedona Method 2006.

For me Sedona Method worked best and I use it together with other methods. Yes, Sedona Method cost money, but it is worth it. Furthermore I recently found another method that took my release and relaxation to another deeper level, and I am amazed over the result. This method is not free but is very low cost and one is given much for the money. This relaxation dig deeper and deeper in your body and lift up old stress that has been compressed during time and new stress piled up upon this, and it feels very relieving to get rid of compressed stress.

When one learnt this relaxation method one can use it with immediately effect. For ex if you are in a traffic jam and you feel tension and anger pile up in your body, you can get rid of this using this technique and become relaxed fast.

All the best,
Ulla

Also, why doesn't the media discuss these techniques?
I have seen it on tv and newspaper, i saw someone called Paul Mckenna on his own tv show apply it a couple of times, maybe its still too new to be broadly "taken" though, maybe it goes against orthodox common knowledge about medicine and psycology and this kind of new things are hard to accept to most people, who knows...

You can check your local library for a copy of the book, "The Sedona Method" by Hale Dwoskin.

Or, you could buy a copy from Amazon for less than $15:

The only thing I don't understand about ETF is how it can completely eliminate a feeling, or emotion for good. So does this mean that if someone chose to feel happiness while using ETF they would get rid of this emotion from their body?

Nope, only negative emotions, there are other techniques that will erase ANY emotion, but you dont want to know about those , thats whats so great about EFT, its harmless, it returns you to you normal healthy state only, like a doctor, for when you are sick and not normal, the doctor gives you pills and stuff to return you to your normal healthy state, EFT is the same but for emotions, it even has broader benefits, it can make you better at sport for example. EFT Provides Impressive Health and Emotional Freedom--New Discovery Often Works Where Nothing Else is the oficial site, it has a manual (free) with a better explanation of how it works.

I've gotten some results from Sedona method but not nearly as much as EFT, I find preference varies a lot from person to person. I really didn't find the book stated much more than the following page, most of it is testimonials explaining that it really is as simple as asking the three questions.

The Power of Letting Go - A Sample of How the Sedona Method Works

Tapping.com - Free EFT Videos - Emotional Freedom Technique has plenty of free videos on EFT.

I use both the Sedona Method and EFT, and I've gotten excellent results from both. The Sedona Method comes with a 20 minute session on one of the tapes which you can use whenever you're upset about anything (you don't need to listen to this tape over and over again for the Sedona Method to work, but I find the tape very soothing and so I use it a lot). The difference between how you feel before listening to the tape and afterwards is amazing. You don't need to wonder if it's working: you literally go from being really upset to feeling calm in a few minutes.

With EFT I use a program created by Joe Vitale and Brad Yates called "Money Beyond Belief". It helps to let go of any negative beliefs and feelings regarding money. It costs less than $50.00 and I've gotten good results from it.

My advice is to get both, and to use them both. If you're worried about the money think of it as a long term investment: the happier and more relaxed you are, the more money is likely to flow into your life

Hope this helps,

Marelisa
