Default Making time for the important

I think we often confuse the difference between what's important and what's urgent. We think we'll be fulfilled if we spend a lot of time completing to-do lists, tasks and projects. Real fulfillment comes from doing things that satisfy our soul. We often make excuses that we just don't have enough time, but we have to make the time. I recently wrote an article on this topic. I'd appreciate the feedback and your thoughts on what is important to you, and how you find the time and stay focused.

10 Ways To Make Time For The Important | Jonathan Mead

Thanks in advance! =)

Good article, thanks.
I especially found this line meaningful to me:
Quote:
If you’re not failing, chances are you’re not trying hard enough.
I tend to be a perfectionist. If I can't do something perfectly, then I often don't even want to try and do it at all. I think I need to get more practice at failing. I should embrace failure. Just jump in and start doing something. If I fail, so what? Good. At least I tried. That's better than sitting on the sidelines of life.

Absolutely, I've become more aware of how much I'll hold back from trying something because I'm afraid of failing. I held back from trying to write for a long time because I thought I wouldn't be good at it. But practice makes the master, failure makes the master. Only by eliminating the errors in our perception or the attempts that don't work, can we become masters. =)
