Default What does Success Mean for You?

Some people equate success to amassing huge sums of money and few by being more popular. Many people however measure Success by achieving simple Goal they set for having a very happy and satisfied life.

So now what does Success Mean for you?

Is Understanding what you want and achieving them is Success.

Quote:
I always take the metaphor of a Soccer Game. Imagine 22 people kicking a ball and no Goal post in the game, how would the game be? Absolutely No Life in the game and the same is true even for life. If there is no Goal there is not life for our Life.

There will be struggles, challenges while reaching your goal and not always do you hit the goal, its a learning experience and you bounce back and hit your target. This is success. Taking those small strides and moving forward will create a big impact of life.
So now you know what Success Means for You !!!

Success to my husband means earning money and he never understands why success to me is about helping others. One of my biggest moments was when I helped a client get pregnant (a life dream of hers) as a result of stabilizing her eating disorder. To help someone achieve their dreams is more satisfying to me than money.

For me being successful means being happy. Happy isn't the high emotion you feel when you get something you want. It's different, but hard to explain.

Nothing else matters but happiness for me. All the rest doesn't have the power to make me happy nor has it any value.

Success for me means thoroughly enjoying myself throughout life, regardless of what tasks I have in front of me. (I always envision life as being one big adventure with lots of twists, turns, and plot holes... so even though bad things can arise, I can learn from them and keep moving on!)

While I did not dream about having huge sums of money, I used to think that I needed more, so that I can have more - like a big house, nice clothes, money to travel, etc. Yes, success meant having a life of physical abundance.

However, recently, I've gone beyond that to believe that I am already abundant. I am definitely much happier mentally and more appreciative of the things that I own physically.

Now that I've ventured into self-help, Success now means to me having the ability to change and impact lives.

Living a Life That Matters,
Evelyn

I find it fascinating to see how many people put the label "success" on external things. In order to be a success you need to change the external world in some way..... Makes no sense whatsoever! Why would you have to change anything to be a success? Why cant you be a success by just being?

Success to me is being content with life, I'm content when I do things I derive happiness from.

In a way it's external/internal as I'm aware one can also be content just by perception. For this reason I'm not successful or happy >.>'

No mind.

Non-attachment.

No suffering.

Being.

The nasty part is that its not something you can strive for...

...living the way I wish to live

Sometimes I wish to be happy, sometimes sad to learn lessons. I choose it all. It's all beautiful.

Success is meaningless, just like everything else.
