I'm having some great trouble with this. I've identified with my pain-body for probably about two years and the resistance is strong. Any tips or insight on how to speed up this process....or any suggestions?

Hmm...you already know it's the pain body, isn't that disidentification already? Next time it acts up, just know that it is the pain body. How about this? Try drawing it out. Use crayons. My painbody was mostly anger, a long time ago, so what I did was to draw it out naturally. It ended up looking like a black stick figure, with red in my chest and head (I can't remember exactly). The red was because I felt it most intensely there, like an actual heat, and something pushing me down. I'm assuming you have read The Power of Now... that's the only place I've heard the term pain-body. If not, get it and read it!

yea sorry for the terminology...I should've mentioned that earlier in the post. Anyway I feel that my pain-body is in the form of grief, anger, depression, and disappointment. I think your link really helped me alot. In the book Eckhart says for you to keep that emotion with you...and always focus on it whereever you go. However after being this way for 2 years I feel mine is too intense for me to hold it for all that time. Your link really helped out and showed me that I don't have to hold it out that long if its too painful for me. Thanks again.
