| My daughter and I are going to a wake tonight for a friend who was recently killed by a transport, he and his best friend to be exact... the brother of her friend was her boyfriend of 3 yrs, they managed to stay friends after the relationship ended..... which i think is quite admirable, and she continued to be friends with the brother who was killed Even though wakes are filled with emotions and we want to pay our respects to the friends and family left behind who are mourning, I don't usually have a feeling of dred arround these types of things as my beliefs seem to keep me quite grounded, in that they stabilise my emotions but today i am really having a tough time... maybe it is for my daughter, this is her first wake and loss of someone close.... maybe i am feeling such dred because of my own unresolved pain... although i thought i was doing quite well anyways I jsut thought i would share heart and mind this morning , thinking if ii get it out there i would feel better thx for reading :-)) |
