Unhappy How to become apathetic and concentrate

Lately when i try to work i instead of dwelling on the work problem i end up wondering about personal/family problems instead on concentrating on the business. The thing is that dwelling on emotional problems only gets me deeper into concerning on emotions and it does not give me a boost to work my ass of on project that is life changing (i learned a lot of new things while working on it but it is still lagging in time frame i had planned to finish it).

I would love to hear how you folks cope with personal problems vs. your job schedules esp. if you are a independent contractor/business owner.

Default repeatting such beliefs will be helpful

One and a half year before, I have experienced some problems with my girlfriend because of her betray in spirit. Now I am still living with her. everyone have maken mistakes, but to tell the truth, everytime I saved myself from angry, grieve and worry, I found that I had hurted by the same problem from her again. the past one and a half year means too miserable to me in my opinion before, but during the past month, I have develop three top beliefs to let myself relax. She is changing herself and treating me better. I am very honored to share these beliefs with you:
1 everything is best arranged. we can draw good from anything you will. just to find the good points, don't worry because:
2 you can control yourself and you are independent. you can choose a better solution whenever/whereever/whatever. you can decide what you will do while not depending on anyone else, for me, my girl.
3 keep on paying.we shall be a great man. yes, we can only guide others, but we can't change others easily. so I decided that I would not waster time trying to change her, just thinking what I can do for her. perhaps one day, the same thing happens again, I can leave without any regret, only peace in the heart.
Now, I am living a good life with myself concentrating on my work.

I don't believe apathy is the solution to a more productive work life.

In fact, I used to be apathetic but I forced myself to feel as I realised I was missing out so much of juice in life!

To stop wondering/worrying, just write everything down on paper and then put it aside and start work work work! Works for me.

That is one of the hardest things about being a 1099. I would have to agree with ella. I just write it out and then do what I have to do. Also, I like to go for walks at night sometimes and I find myself just rambling on under my breath and by the time I get back home, my mind is totally clear. Just keep in mind that it's the most successful people that can separate work from play, and bringing your personal issues to the work table is playing around. Just that you are aware of the issue enough to bring it here is a sign that things are sure to change.
