| I'm trying to figure out what mine is. I feel like it should be more than the pursuit of happiness, safety and comfort. I seek those and also try to provide it to others daily as part of my job and real life. (I'm a caregiver, wife, mother) It doesn't seem enough. Does anyone here have a life's purpose? |

| My life's purpose is to gain conscious mastery over my mind, and help others attain similar mastery over theirs. I aim to one day reform the education system in the U.S. into a system that fosters the growth of character, and teaches the power of the mind. Essentially, my life's purpose is to make a significant impact on society. I believe the only thing which is truly important is to give people the opportunity to do the great things they are supposed to. But the PROPER education must come first. Get involved with more things your passionate about, and you will naturally stumble upon your life's purpose that way.

| If you don't include happiness and love as the emotional component of your life, you will miss your purpose. If you find that feeling of love and happiness in your life, you will find that everything you do has purpose. |

| I think my life purpose changes with the chapters of my life. I believe whatever we are doing, wherever we are, we are fulfilling our life purpose. The feelings of dissatisfaction maybe just a signal to move on. I don't believe there 'should' be more, I believe there 'is' a lot more. Quote:

| I've been thinking about this and here's my life purpose. (I had hoped that it would sound more meaningful and less fluffy, but oh well.) My life purpose is to improve my psi skills, in all areas. I want to find out what the limits are and right now I don't think there are any limits. I can do things now that at one time I wasn't sure were possible and I now take them for granted. My new thing is self healing. I've made headaches and pain go away in minutes. I'm working on healing cuts faster. The funny thing is that I've gotten deep into intention manifestation and it feels the same as playing with telekinesis or mind reading. It's like it's the same thing. Same kind of energy I guess. Learning I.M. has made me better at psi. Oh, and I'm still pursueing comfort safety love happiness health. I think that should go without saying because everyone wants those. |

| Mine is to be successful in all main areas of life, especially the financial. I want to get very wealthy so i can start and go on to some higher goals i have, but i must have the means for it first (money, a lot of money

| In the post on finding your life's purpose, it says that you should try different versions until you find one that brings tears. But why not laughter? Wouldn't that one be a much better life purpose? |
| |||
| I don't have an answer. I believe in a spirit world and I am not really sure why we exist here in this dimension. For me, I am trying to be as financially and at the same time emotionally successfull until a higher purpose reveals itself. If I die never knowing, then at least I will know that I have thought about it, and worked towards it... Peteymills, If you can find enough pleasure in the simpler things, like laughter, to give purpose to your life, then I truly envy you. |

| What is my life's purpose? That is the question I remember asking myself a thousand times, and I will share with you how I figured out my life's purpose. But first let me share this with you all. In the Bible, Psalm 82:6 says that you are Gods, children of the most high God. So, I looked up the definition of God, and very interestingly I found one of the definitions says that God is a person that exercises force and power. When we study nature we find that the first part of any organic being to be developed is the brain, or seed. It is in the brain, or seed that all the intelligence is stored. Upon, further study I found that Lord means to nourish a thing until it reaches it eventual perfection. So part of my point is that we have to strive to develop our natural gifts and talents until we reach a level of perfection through study and practice of our gifts. So how do you find your life's purpose? Well, this is how I found mine. I started to pay attention to different occupations and take notice of the way my emotions responded. I started to notice that every time I saw or heard an inspirational speaker, I would always get the overwhelming feeling that I should be doing that. Just to be in the room with an inspirational speaker would cause me to have chills running through my body. Nothing brings me more bliss then to help someone figure out the complexities in their lives. Coaching and Speaking for inspirational are two things that I would do for free and absolutely enjoy it. It just feels natural to me because this is what I am born to do? Ask yourself these questions, when trying to find your life's purpose. What things do you absolutely enjoy doing in your free time? What types of things cause you great pain? This is important to know because the things that cause you the most pain, are the things that you will be most passionate about getting out of your life. This will be the thing that once you overcome your battle, you will be most passionate about helping others overcome their battles also. Thus giving you purpose because you understand the pain of those that you serve. What do you want to be famous? What things not only come natural to you, but feel like things that you should be doing? Remember all life purpose is connected to the uplifted of other people. What gifts do you have to share with the human family.

| I'm sorry to intrude, but you might want to see this thread called What is YOUR life purpose? in the character contribution forum. It's a great idea to use search before starting a new thread.
