Default Good books

Would anyone happen to know any good books that tell how someone overcame depression or some hardship in their life?

The reason I'm asking is that I'm going through this right now...By the way thanks for your help in advance.

Do something different by bill o'hanlon - he overcame his depression and he teaches others how to do it to. It's very practical and upbeat.

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. Everyone - and I do mean everyone - should have a copy of this in their library.

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenace by Robert Pirsig. An old professor of mine said that nobody could consider themselves educated if they had not read this book.

The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid by Bill Bryson - purely for the humour in it. It's wonderfully and gently hysterical. I actually belly-laughed out loud at it, and I never do that with a book.

Did you know that Bruce Lee once injured his back so badly his doctor told him he'd never do martial arts again?

He was confined to bed for the first 3 months, and for the next 3 months was moping around the house - all this was before his mega-success and his wife had to go out and earn a living while the bills kept streaming in.

Yet despite all this, he managed to overcome it all and become the martial arts & movie legend we all know.

Here's a freebie; you don't even have to buy the book. Read the story at Life Coaches Blog: What You Didn't Know About Bruce Lee's Kick-Ass Success.
