I mean from birth every little input your brain receives you translate it and understand it in your own little way to form your personality/emotions. It is a good thing because it is a survival thing, complex lifeforms wouldn't be without it,but you will you never truly see a thing in another persons eyes and if there is a great universal truth you won't ever see them the way they really are because in the nanoseconds it takes you to process what you are seeing your mind automatically dillutes them with your perspective. Pretty much everything is just perspective and will always be. What is the purpose of anything? I mean your brain dies = you die..so what difference does it make if you drink until you rot or cure cancer for you? I mean in the end you are going to have the same effect. I also think that it is most confusing that anything at all could exist (on this planet or anywhere for that matter). I mean a grain of sand is composed of all sorts of things and you can trace it to this element and this element which came from the sun's core..then you trace the suns gases and where they came from but it never ends. Even if you could trace everything all the way to one gas/element/energy it exists so it must be comprised of something and have a source and it never ends... ^ is a mind rape and it does no good to think about it because the answer is known to be unknown so why do people continue to search knowing 1- They are and will always be mortal..pretty much the moment they were born they carried death 2- The existance of any life/substance is illogical ---oh well that is my pessimism 2 things I like are dreams and things like by the time your see the light from distant stars (super space scopes) you are looking at them the way they were millions/hundreds of millions of years ago because that is how long the light takes to travel. |

Hm, thinking that looking at the stars I can see back in time looks like a fun thought. Basically have to say whenever I catch myself caught up in this cat-chasing-tail thinking I go and bake something, cause the mind has a tendency to run off all on its own and then you can pull it back into the present moment by action only. And then if you do believe none of it makes any difference, what would you like to do? If none of it mattes you're free to do what you really like. If all is perspective, you can choose your own. Objective reality looking at it from another point of view seems pretty much a life-belt for reason. Sometimes I think that the old saying, who sees God must die, really means that seeing God means the death of the reasonable A-B-C mind. Just some more random thoughts I guess. |
