I have been challenged to change a belief I hold to be true in life by a blogger friend of mine. I thought to make it more interesting I would try to find a common thread of belief in my readers that resonated as a belief within myself as well. What I discovered is many people don't even know what a belief is, aside from the dictionary meaning. I hold my own personal views on what beliefs are and what they produce within my life...but I am interested in getting some feedback on what other people consider a belief to be, in order to perhaps enlighten myself a bit further as well as present my own ideas a clearer. If anyone wants to see the discussions they are here... Go!Smell the Flowers and here The Process of a Miracle...a 30 Day experiment I feel as though I may be misconstruing my own ideas based upon my own understanding and would like to discover whether I could find a common connection in my own understanding. Thanks |

Beliefs are what condition our minds. We take on these beliefs through the experiences we have in life, mostly early in life. We're not always responsible for our belies, many of them are given to us by other, friends, family, teachers, religious authorities. Beliefs paint a picture in our mind of how the world works. The catch 22 of beliefs is that what we believe is what we attract and experience in our lives, and every time we experience something caused by a belief, we give more power to the belief. We hold our beliefs sacredly, they're hard to let go of, because they've been imprinted into our minds, for most of our lives. Our beliefs are what hold us back from achieve what we desire and for bringing us closer to what we desire. The key is to recondition the beliefs that hold you back (Limiting Beliefs) form your desires, to beliefs that move you towards your desires (Empowering Beliefs).

Hi there, Belief is a view, perspective, perception, thought of something, and the person who hold that view, perspective, perception, thought of something to be true reality. It's usually happen with social proof (because many people believe in it). It depends on the level of people's self-esteem. People with less self-esteem usually go for the belief that crowd believe in (because they feel painful to walk away from the crowd to be a loner). It's very comfortable to support in your views, opinions, and perspective. People with high self-esteem, they have a belief in "result oriented". There are three kind of "result orienteds". Whether you know it or not, the world is running on result orienteds. 1. The result oriented use assertive mean to get results. This is the wise people's way do to get result. They offer real benefits, real values for the result in their ways, or their favor. These people are more open mind to different views, different perception for gaining a better results in their lives. 2. The result oriented use coercive mean to get results. This is the clever people's way do to get result. These people do not interest in exchange fair value or offer true benefits to people to get result in their ways or their favor. These people not very open mind to new views or idea that involve exchange fair value. They constantly look for manipulative way to gain result their way. 3. The result oriented use brutal mean to get results. This is the mean people's way do to get results. These people want to get result period. They don't care about anything or anyone. They kill, destroy, poison, do all of destruction to gain result. The war, the killing, the murdering had happened, because they wanted result in their favor. Every where around the world, the result oriented people rule and dominate in society, in career, in business, and in what ever their heart desire. Look and observe in societies, religion, government, business, social group, family, relationship and etc. Just different ways of result oriented... believes are perceptions that considered to be true by certain individuals....they created believes to get result in their ways of lives (their ways, their pleasures, their perceptions, the ways they wanted to live).
