| I've heard a bunch of times that it doesn't matter how a thing gets broken, it's how you fix it that's important. I've taken that advice to heart and it's served me well, to a point, but now I'm finding that dealing with some of my perceived limitations have really been helped by tracking down the experiences in my life that put them there. So on the one hand I'm focused on building my consciousness in the now, and on the other, I have these things which I feel are holding me back. Has anyone been here before? Will my current limitations just disappear if I keep focusing on increasing my awareness and consciousness, or should I spend time on the individual issues that are causing the pain? I hope this makes sense. Thanks! |

| You'll find the answers in moving forward. If you can chew gum and walk, you can reflect as you act.

| I reckon you can speed up and aid the process of replacing and changing thought patterns by getting them into focus. And ironically, you don't need to worry about the details to focus. Just like you dont have to know the absolutely incredible array of things your body does to keep it running perfectly. You just let it all happen amasingly and take in the fresh air. So say you actually realise something you feel is restricting you. As an example, imagine that maybe you know you become nervous in crowds, react poorly in crowds. Yet you wish to do things that require interacting with crowds, or being around them and arent having much success. I would use the tools I feel are necessary for effective visualising, attracting and manifesting to first highlight, locate and carry out everything needed to replace the associated thought patterns or filters. I would create and imagine vividly an exaggerated, hilarious situation of my current reactions to crowds, in a black, 3 dimensional stage or screen. Noticing how chat, inky and negative it actually was from time to time. The more radical, way out and attention grabbing the better, using hilarity and emotion. You want to grab your conscious and subconscious attention fully. You dont want your visualisation and intention to be another mundane thing, to be ignored and filed away with the rest of them that are unimportant and deemed low priority. Next, I would switch to a pure white stage of magnificent, limitless light. Then I would repair the situation, using the same method. Having done that, I would daily visualise my new amasing results and outlook when interacting and being in crowds. And focus on acknowledging any changes, even seemingly small or unimportant ones that happen. Imagination and emotion are the keys to grabbing attention, being in the right state, and being fully engaged. Look, its the biggest visualising bungle I see. Boring, switch it off, ignore it, I couldn't tell you what happened, can't wait to finish this and do something that actually interests me, and feels important, visualisations. Relaxation and visualisation workshops where everyone is frowning, fidgeting, worried and bored. And then wondering why no energy goes there, why nothing happens. "But I do the bloody thing every day! Twice!" Even if you successfully meditate and/or relax into the correct state, as soon as you start that type of visualisation, you'll be straight out of it quick smart. Its like working out, use it or lose it. Develop it and it feeds itself, developing more, becoming second nature, habit. And like workouts the new state begins spilling into and effecting your whole life. Reminds me of 'meditating'. "What are you meditating on?" "Oh, just God. Whoa! Is that the time, I gotta fly...I'm getting this awesome new toothbrush, you should see it, it..." |

| I reckon that "the now" is perceived by you on the basis of all of your experiences to date. This is how we work. So you've found that by tracking back through your life to where you learnt your limiting beliefs has helped, keep doing it. Increasing my awareness, and particularly bringing as much thought into consciousness has helped me identify what's holding me back. I've then learnt to use EFT on the limiting beliefs (by dealing with the emotions stirred up by their root cause) and find that my current consciousness has improved. So something similar to your method works well for me too! So continue doing both Joe, I reckon you're on the right path. We all have our own right path, if it works for you, do it! Much joy to you Hazel
