I stole this thread from another forum and find it very good. Since it makes us post what little joys we have in the day to day life. So just post ahead what made you a bit happier about life today? And the best thing is that what made other smile might help you smile along! Or get a bit happier in your depression that you have at the moment. Yesterday I spent around 15 excruciating hours working on a problem set due at 10:10AM today that was extremely long and tricky. But I finally finished around 4AM, exhausted, and figured I could get a couple of hours of sleep in before I had to hand it the following morning. I woke up to my alarm clock this morning feeling fairly rested and revved to go. I turn in bed to take a look at the time: exactly 10:10AM. Life has a funny way of telling us we take it way too seriously sometimes. Last edited by DiscoDan; 09-04-2007 at 07:00 AM. |

I was walking home after grocery shopping, and there was a man sitting on a bench and feeding birds with pieces of bread. The thing that made me smile first is that I visually saw a 'feeding frenzy'. And then, I noticed that a squirrel was eating a big piece of bread, in the middle of all the birds. That made me laugh out loud =) |

The minister of defence in Sweden is holding a press-conference and when he said something about the defence being very efficient, he shown himself being more proud of being able to prounonce two hard words then what I'd expect him to really understand them 100%. Hahaha, that made me laugh he was so dead serious at the conference. Love Leelene |

The tacky humor at Mittnytts Eftersnacks homesite and their obsession about a trophy-moose-head. They are the best local news station in the world and they are so cute. Gotta love the way they are. Love Leelene |

This happened a couple days ago, but it's too cute not to share. My oldest son sliced the tip of his finger off at school and I had to go pick him up (this part, I know NOT funny). Anyway, once he was ok we picked his little brother up and on the way home little brother was really thinking about what had happened to his brother. Finally he said, "Boy Ethan. Now it's REALLY going to be hard to do your homework". Hahahahaha. I thought that was so cute.

My first mango that I've eaten was today and I had no clue of how to eat it properly, but it was a really good mango, so I will keep that fruit as a favourite now. Even if I do not know how to eat the most of it...hahaha Love Leelene |

| This video cracked me up. It's a very bizarre remake of "Stairway to Heaven."

Watching Star Wars: Return of the Jedi today, when the emperor tries to frighten Luke by saying that an "entire legion" of his "very best troops" is waiting in ambush on Endor.... And someone pointing out the the emperor's "very best troops" are easily overrun by teddy bears with sticks. |
