Default Your Favorite Technique?

What's everyone's favorite technique for getting a grip on their emotions?

I've tried EFT and the Sedona Method. Anyone have any other favorites? So far the Sedona Method is my favorite.

I thought Sedona was kinda weak. I like Big Mind, Core Trans, EFT.

I use body physiology... that is body posture and breathing pattern... plus, for dramatic changes I use an anchoring trigger which was set up at an NLP seminar given by a Tony Robbins' associate...

That anchoring trigger was set up about fifteen years ago and still works like a charm...

I have only tried EFT and the methods described by Esther and Jerry Hicks in Ask and it is Given

I am very excited to learn about these other techniques. I will look into them

I don't. I let them be, and question myself what triggered them. After that, they'll dissipate with time.

Hi,

besides EFT and Silva Mind Control I use EmoTrance - and it is my favorite.
It doesn't require tapping, so nobody will know you are "doing" anything.
With a bit of practice you can use it in just about any situation.

you can visit: EmoTrance here.

I like the "reaching for a better feeling" method of moving up the emotional scale, which is from the book Ask and It Is Given.

First, you become aware of where you are on this scale of the levels of consciousness:

Joy/Empowerment/Freedom/Love/Appreciation/Knowledge
Passion
Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness
Positive Expectancy/Belief
Optimism
Hope
Contentment
Boredom
Pessimism
Frustration/Impatience
Overwhelmed
Disappointment
Doubt
Worry
Blame
Discouragement
Anger
Revenge
Hatred/Rage
Jealousy
Insecurity/Guilt
Fear/Grief/Despair

Then you try to think of something that will help you move up the scale emotionally. For example, if you're feeling like getting revenge, try and see if you can feel angry. Then, think about something that will make you discouraged. Then, think about something that will cause you to blame others. Then, think about something that you will worry about. Keep going until you get to the top of the scale.

Default method

I call it a trick. it started out just tricking my mind; asking my future self (who I envision as having "gotten it") to come back and erase the events that led up to the frustration. erase the reaction I had and insert one more appropriate.
I find this now happening without even asking (well a few times).
i'll tell you how I learned of this.
in my metaphysical group, one of the guys did a talk on the research being done on actually changing past events.
Since memories are just a real in the mind as an actual occuring event, all one needs to do is to relive the memory and change your reaction to it.
But of course, there's always the old stand by of meditating. That works real well,(if I do it )
thanks for asking
Peace
Angie
