Hi Everyone, I will attend CSW and I am looking forward to get immersed and making new friends as well. This is my first Steve workshop and I am flying in from out of the country, all the way from Brazil. Who else is planning on attending it? |

Hi Lynn, thanks for your reply. By the way, you mentioned in another post about the reaction of people when telling about attending this kind of workshop. From my side the reaction of my family and the majority of friends are supportive; however, there are some people that are not interested or never thought about personal development. In this last case usually what I notice is indifference, but this doesn’t bother me at all. I am interested in personal development since I was 16th years old and think that’s the beauty of life, to be able to become better each day of our lives and also to meet interesting people, after all we are social beings. |

Hello, I am planning on attending. I live in Switzerland, but I will be visiting my family in Los Angeles before I go to the CSW, so I am flying in for multiple reasons. One person I've told hasn't been interested in hearing more. I said I was attending a workshop/seminar led by a blogger I've been reading for many years, and I got no reply in return. *shrug* The other guy I told has met Steve and said he's a cool guy. The third person said he is supportive of personal development. |

Hi, I will be flying in from germany. I'll stay in Vegas from monday to thursday. All the people I told I'd go to Vegas for a workshop didn't care much. Most of them were happy for me, but didn't really ask about the workshop. For the few that did ask it was enough to say that it's a personal development workshop. They know I'm into it, but don't show much interest themselves. |

Hello Edwardschmitz, Annliese and Zetta. We should arrange a meet up the Thursday night. I will be traveling with my husband and some friends but they will not be attending the conference. We will be there Wednesday to Wednesday but plan on making some side trips before and after the conference (ie Grand Canyon). The reactions are interesting as I strongly believe everyone is interested in success and trying to improve themselves in some capacity. I'm not sure if people don't like the term "personal development" or they prefer not to let others know they are into it. I may be wrong but if I think if I asked the same people "Would you like to be successful”? the reactions would be completely different. I am ready to be successful, along with each of you so let's do this!!! Lynn |

Hello Zetta and Annliese, welcome to this Thread. I see that everyone here so far are comming from abroad. We have Canada, Germany, Switzerland and Brazil Lynn, I think is a good idea to arrange a meet up by Thursday night. In fact I will do some side trip as well. I will be arriving in Vegas by Tuesday with my wife and kids (five year old girl and a thirteen year old boy) and we will travel to Flagstaff to see the Canyon. My wife will not be attending the workshop, so she will enjoy Las Vegas with our kids. Do you know any place that we can meet up by Thursday night so my kids can come along? Suggestions will be welcome from anyone from this thread. Maybe we can arrange a big meet up. Edward |

Hi Everyone! Thanks for starting this thread, Edward. Good idea. By the sound of it, I'm starting to wonder if I'll be the only American attending the workshop! (just kidding) This is definitely my first workshop of Steve's, and I'm looking forward to it. I just wish I'd had the money in July and registered then. It being the holidays, I could use a $100 discount right about now. But alas, I am grateful to have gotten a great deal on airfare, so I'll focus on the positive. And I wholeheartedly agree, it is definitely time to commit myself to success. A big meetup would be fun! Depending on the timing though. Actually, a fun place to checkout is the Bellagio Fountains. It's a massive fountain (about as big as a football field) and there are fountain shows that play to music about once an hour or so. It's family-friendly, too. You can see the fountain as a big blue blob here: Google Maps |

I'll be attending the workshop! Ahaha, don't worry @Andreas, you aren't the only American attending. I'm going to be coming from California! I'm so lucky for the fact that Las Vegas is only 4-5 hours away from me! Where are you from? I feel that I'm going to be the youngest at the workshop........ |

Andreas, Thanks for joining this Thread. Now just waiting for Burris and Rapid from the other thread (CSW: How long to say?) to join the conversation. Xyxxic, you are welcome here. But don´t you worry guys, you wouldn´t be the only Americans at the workshop since I was born in New Haven, Connecticut. Andreas, regarding your suggestion for a meet up, I think that the Bellagio Fountains would be a nice spot. Let´s hear from the others as the conversation develops. |

Hi Edward, My Wife and I will be attending as well. We are flying from Sacramento, California (yes we decided that flying 1.5 hours would be better than driving for 9+ both ways Couple of questions for you guys. Are you staying in Tropicana? Do you plan to sight see while in Vegas? I've been told they have a rather decent transportation system and we wouldn't need our own car if we are staying close to the event. Can't wait to meet you all! Steve has had a rather large impact on myself, as well as some of my friends who decided to never have an employer thanks to Steve's website. Thanks, -John and InYoung Behringer |

Hi GuyJeb, I look forward meeting you as well and thank you for joining this Thread. I will stay at the Tropicana from Thursday up to Sunday. There are many options in Las Vegas but I stick with the Tropicana for my convenience. (Besides I believe is a very nice hotel I will sure sight see Las Vegas in the evenings since I will be travelling with my wife and Kids (they will not attend the workshop) and I want to spend some time with them. This will be my first time to Las Vegas and I know there are a lot of things to do there. You can see some of Steve´s suggestions here: Steve Pavlina Workshops - Frequently Asked Questions As far as I know you can do lot of things by foot since most of the attractions are located on the Las Vegas Strip. You can see some details here: Las Vegas Strip - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Edward |

Hello GuyJeb Looking forward to meeting you next month. I, along with my husband will also be staying at the Tropicana and will be there from the Wednesday to Wednesday. Unless you plan on heading out of the city you will not need a car, you can walk everywhere, take local transit or a cab. Keep in mind some of the hotels are massive and can take you 15 minutes to get from your hotel room to the street. Although the Bellagio Fountains are a must see, I'm not sure it would be an ideal meeting space; unless it's only a few people. Vegas has so many tourists that visit the fountain, along with the Bellagio being one of the larger hotels, there is a lot of activity around the fountain. If the majority of people are staying at the hotel what about the Tropicana lobby and we can move to an appropriate space (if necessary) once we have a better idea of the number of people interested in meeting? I can bring a copy of Steve's book and leave it on the table, similar to other meet ups or I can wear a red carnation to identify myself I've only been to Vegas, once before (2 years ago) so others more familar with the city may be able to recommend something more appropriate. This is the first time in a long time, I'm looking forward to Christmas being over and done with and bring on the new year!!! Lynn |

I will be driving in from Los Angeles Thursday, and I will just go with the flow regarding a meetup, because I am uncertain as to my arrival time. I'm staying at the Tropicana, too, for convenience. I'm an American expat, by the way. I moved abroad three years ago. This is my first time attending a workshop. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. |

Hi All! I'll be travelling from Australia and attending both the CSW and the CRW in February. A meetup Thursday sound like an awesome idea - I'll most likely be arriving Thursday morning. Perhaps we can also organise a daytrip for the Monday after the workshop; either online or once we've all met in person. As well as Steve's workshops, I'm also doing a Holotropic Breathwork workshop with Stan Grof in Joshua Tree and an Authentic Man Program workshop in San Fransisco. This is going to be one hell of a trip! Looking forward to meeting you all, Jesse |

Hi, everyone. This will be my first Steve Pavlina workshop although I've been interested in personal and spiritual development since college. I am from Southern California but am currently attending graduate school in NJ. I will be arriving during Thursday afternoon and would be happy to meet up for dinner! I still need to figure out where to stay. $135 per night at the workshop hotel is a bit much on a student budget so I am hoping to find female roommates.

I will be going to the CSW. I signed up for both the SRW and CSW at around the same time. I will be there from Thursday Evening and will leave right after the workshop. I am looking forward to the CSW weekend. It will be interesting what insights that I will come up with after attending this conference. The same goes for the transformations other people will go through, especially for those who will be attending their first workshop. I also look forward to meeting with those that I have already met at previous workshops. It will start the year off right for all of us |

@Lynn 007 That's actually a much better idea, Lynn! Let's do that instead. Leaving a copy of Steve's book on the table is a good idea. (And thanks for mentioning that since it would be a good opportunity to get my book signed!) @gsm Wow! All the way from Australia? Awesome @cellardoor And the UK! Great to hear. Sounds like there are going to be a diverse set of backgrounds and accents. It's going to be a beautiful weekend. |

Gsm, Rapid, Andrew, Rajiv Parti, Neil (cellardoor) and Burris I welcome you all to this thread. Thank you for joining. It’s nice to see people from many places around here. The workshop will be awesome, and I am looking forward to meet you all. Andreas and Lynn, I believe that meeting at Tropicana´s with a copy of Steve’s book on the table is a good idea. Let´s meet there! Below I prepared the list of the attendees for the CSW so far. Who else is coming? Please don´t be shy and put your name on the list and reply to us all with a little feedback about yourself. I think that a good idea is everyone to share something about itself so we can start increasing connection right away in this thread. Once we get to the workshop it will be much easier for making new friends. Sounds good? Ok, here I go with a brief background about myself: I was born in New Haven, Connecticut and live in Brazil since the age of 3. I was graduated in Electronic Engineering and now I work in a company that manufactures notebook, desktop boards and any kind of electronic device with a circuit board (It´s a contract manufacturer). I am only 44 years old, have two children (a boy with thirteen and a girl with five) and I am married for 17 years with the women I do love. My mother is Brazilian and my father is American (from Brooklyn, NY). I love personal development since I was a teenager. Recently I started a new project with a partner (an internet business for Brazilian market) that is planned to be launched on March 2012. So, that is definitely the perfect timing for participating at the CSW. Let me hear from you all. ____________________ List of attendees so far: Lynn from Toronto, Canada. Hey! Planning to attend as well- I live in Las Vegas and have been to several CGWs, and I never feel better than toward the end of a workshop weekend when all the positive vibes are bouncing all over the place and everyone is floating on air and hopped up on goofballs :-) Also I sometimes host people at my house during CGW so if you need a place to stay you can hit me up. I don't have a huge house but there is alot of couch space and floor space. And 2 little dogs :-) Look forward to meeting/seeing you all, and Edward thanks for starting the discussion! Kevin |

Hi everyone, I just registered! I'm Jenny from Sweden :-) I'm 26 and I work about half of the year in Las Vegas as a violinist and the rest of the time I'm in Copenhagen, Denmark working towards my Masters in violin performance. I have never done anything like this before and I'm excited but also a little scared. I'm very ready to commit to success though and I'm definitely interested in a pre-workshop meetup on Thursday! |

But in the next time I fly to Vegas for a workshop I will sure remember you offer. So, now we have someone from Sweden. You are welcome Jenny. This workshop will be very interesting since we will have people from many places and diverse experiences. Just awesome! The list below is increasing, that is great. Who else is coming? I will be attending. I attended CGW #3, which was a life-changing experience for me. I also attended CGW #5, which was also a wonderful experience. Success in my business has been and continues to be a major focus of my life, and so I'm looking forward to meeting many more people at CSW who share a similar focus.

I just signed up and I'm looking forward to it. It will be my first event. I've been reading stuff on the website for a while, and I just got Steve's book so I'll read that before the workshop. I'm in the Washington DC suburbs. I'm self-employed as an insurance specialist/wholesaler. I'm 50 years old, so I might be on the older end of attendees - at least judging from pictures of the past workshops! I'll see everyone at the meetup on Thursday night. Steve. |

Hello everyone It looks like we have a great group of people of all ages and backgrounds. This is going to be a fantastic opportunity to not only learn more about success from Steve; but also from each other. I have been trying to come up with a response to what is success to me? Although the standard answers come to mind (money, freedom, travel, etc); I know I need to dig deeper for a true answer and find out if that is really my definition of success or is that the only answer I've been exposed too. For the past number of years; I've always wanted to have a successful business that I could run from a boat and am in year 5 of a 10 year plan. I have come up with a number of online business ideas; have done a ton of research, prepared business plans, marketing strategies, talked with experts, taken courses but have a real struggle in implementation. Perhaps I'm afraid of success or feel I'm not worthy of it? who knows. I'm not sure if anyone else faces the same challenges but if so, I hope by attending this conference and learning from one another we can exceed our own definition of success and watch each other thrive!!! Since I may not be online as much over the next few weeks I want to wish each of you a Merry Christmas/Holiday Season; and a very successful 2012!!! Safe travels and see you in Vegas. Hopefully you can make the meetup on Thursday night. Lynn |

Lynn, to me, success is living your dreams, and enabling the dreams of others. My reason for attending is clarity; there are numerous experiences that I want in my life, but I have no sense of how to prioritise and achieve these desires. Like you, one of my dreams to to operate a mobile business while sailing around the world. Jesse |
