Default CGW is underpriced, making the experience worse for everyone

CGW is underpriced. You're attracting people who aren't prepared to take your wisdom and implement it immediately.

[fear]

If you raised the price, you would attract more people who would be capable of taking immediate action on the Truth you've helped everyone observe.

And you would attract more money for yourself!

ONENESS

That's just silly. Since when is willingness tied to capability to lay out large sums? Willingness of the students depends not on the students themselves, but in Steve's ability to inspire them. If he thinks he can inspire the kinds of people who can pay lower prices rather than higher, I think it's great that he's pursuing that market.

Zackster has a good point. I can see a huge correlation between an abundance mindset and the personal power/responsibility to use a CGW to create change.

How much do you want people to pay for it? If it costs too much, there will be hardly anyone there. It's not like Steve is getting 500 people and having to turn them away at every CGW, so his price seems to be working.

I disagree.

Toastmasters is *only* $40 a semester, or $80 a years, yet it benefits a lot of people in a huge way. Should Toastmasters also increase the price to be $500/year too?

I for one enjoyed a lot the people who have attended CGW.

I have seen however a big difference in commitment to personal development between those who make the trip to CGW and those who don't. Especially if they live in Vegas.

Not only that, but the more you pay, the more 'invested' you are in making sure you get something out of it -- and the more likely you are to really listen and act on what Steve says. In psychology this principle is "consistency and commitment", "cognitive dissonance", etc. And if you can pay $2000 for a workshop you have more Power, so you can act quicker

I'll be there on September 16. Planning on booking my plane ticket tonight.

So, you are going to a workshop full of people you say make the experience worst for you because they didn't pay $2,000. Again for the second time? That doesn't make sense.

You're right: it doesn't make sense, because your message contains typos. My guess is you're channeling emotional communication and not thinking logically. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.

The workshop is valuable. It's underpriced. It would be more valuable if Steve raised the price.

It would be more valuable to me if there were more people who could afford high rates. It would make for better networking.

I find this interesting.

Would the networking be better or worse if the energy exchange was different? For instance, if Steve gave someone a ticket because they revamped his website, would that lessen your experience?

If the rates went up and an equivalent amount of people didn't take the workshop seriously, would that lessen your experience?

You are free to pay Steve as much as you want: Consulting Services - Steve Pavlina

He has a price tag, but I doubt he would mind if you paid extra to match the value he can give you.

Seems to me like you are misconstruing the concept of oneness. You seem more self oriented than oneness oriented to me.

If Steve raises the price of his workshops, there will be a decrease in attendees from outside the U.S.

Some people have to pay $1000+ for airline tickets alone just to get to CGW from overseas.

Because of CGW's price, it allows more people from all over the world to attend, making the experience better for everyone.
