Here are the most likely dates for the next 4 workshops. All are Fri-Sun and will have the same hours as CGW (9a-5:30p Fri/Sat, 9a-4p Sun). Sep 16-18 Oct 21-23 Jan 13-15 Feb 17-19 The first one will be a CGW. The others will be new workshops (haven't decided which to have when yet). I may also do workshops in March, April, and May, but I probably won't book those till after the first one. All of these will be at the Tropicana in Las Vegas. We can also offer a discounted group rate on the hotel rooms for people who wish to stay there. The Tropicana recently underwent a $100M renovation, so the rooms are really nice -- the ones I saw all looked brand new. This is still tentative since we haven't officially booked any rooms yet, but I wanted to give people a heads up if they want to mark their calendars in advance. |

And here are the topics I'm leaning towards for each workshop: Sep 16-18 - Conscious Growth Workshop (CGW #6) Oct 21-23 - Subjective Reality Jan 13-15 - Success & Achievement Feb 17-19 - Entrepreneurship |

I'm most interested in the Success & Achievement, though it's possible that Subjective Reality could be an even better fit. I also like the idea of going back for another CGW.. Are you going to offer bulk rate or alumni discounts? And is Success & Achievement going to cover many practical techniques for time management skills, journaling, affirmations, etc? |

Alright I think I'm going with this instead: Sep 16-18 - Conscious Growth Workshop (CGW #6) Oct 21-23 - Subjective Reality Jan 13-15 - Success & Achievement Feb 17-19 - Relationships I think it makes sense to combine the best ideas about career development, finances, entrepreneurship, and success habits into a single workshop about how to cultivate the ultimate lifestyle you desire and make it a reality, with a strong focus on generating abundant income so you can make it financially sustainable. This creates room for a workshop on conscious relationships. This won't be an exotic poly-themed workshop -- I intend to make it useful for those who favor a traditional marriage model as well as those who want something more alternative. |

I'll make it clear what will be covered in each workshop when I'm ready to open registrations.

When considering pricing, please consider offering a small discount to those who signup for all three in advance, since I'll be coming from abroad for each workshop, such a discount would go a long way.

To my knowledge, Steve hasn't increased his prices in the few years since putting on these workshops. I believe he said the venue just had a 100M renovation - they will be looking to recoup their money somehow. Hopefully, they don't charge more for the venue, which will need to be passed on to attendees. I think the value people receive in their personal growth by attending would exceed any discount offered. I'm worth full price

For most of these workshops, I'd like to limit the group to about 100 people or less, so it can have a more intimate feel, and attendees can get to know each other. If I lower the price too much, I think it's more likely it would either sell out and I'd have to turn people away, or I'd need to start hosting much larger groups each time, and for now I'd like to avoid those scenarios. I would prefer not to do anything too gimmicky with the pricing. I favor letting supply and demand settle the pricing issue in the long run -- that seem to be the most sensible approach. For now I want to focus on increasing the frequency of the workshops, so more people who want to attend will have a chance to do so. The $497 pricing has worked very well in the past, and most people seem to find it a strong value for the money. I've actually received more suggestions to raise the price than lower it. Also given the lower airfares to/from Las Vegas (which are partly subsidized by the city to attract tourism), I think it's already a pretty strong deal overall. So I doubt I'd drop the price any further. I thought about doing a multi-workshop discount, but I'm not sure I want to go there. At this point I have no idea how many people would actually want to attend multiple workshops, especially since it would require additional trips to Las Vegas. Based on the survey results, I learned that different people tend to be interested in different topics, so I can't say how many people would find multiple workshops appealing. I'd need to gather up some data on that first to see what's really happening, and I don't think a survey will give me the answers.

I definitely want to attend the Success and Achievement workshop in January. I am also 50/50 right now on the October workshop. I would like to do both, so we'll see. |

| When I started looking at it, I realized that most of it could be wrapped into the success workshop. So much of entrepreneurship is about perspective, mindset, beliefs, habits, etc. It's the same toolset, just a different area of application.

I wanted to learn more about your best practices. I found this old thread a while back and found it to be particularly inspiring: Dexterity Software Forums - REPOST: Scheduling and Goals Are you going to talk about journaling and affirmations? I want to start journaling, but not sure what the best way for me to do it is. Right before bed? In the morning? Checklist-style, or free form? Clearly the #1 thing I need is *compliance*, i.e., something I will actually do. And from there I can "stack forward"

Another big problem I have is that I will have days where I am extremely productive - today has been one of them - but they are rare; this is surely an illustration of the Pareto principle, but I do not know how to ensure their consistency. I did follow a checklist this morning. It helped! And the night before, I socialized. Trying to learn from patterns... |

I like the idea of having specific themes for each workshop as it gives you a reason to come back or not come back for the next one. I'm just wondering though, is there really 3 days worth of subjective reality to talk about? Or success & achievement?

Hey Margarita. Oh fo sho. I bet we could spend a week on Subjective Reality. Or a week on Success & Achievement. Though I don't understand why Steve doesn't combine Success & Achievement with Subjective Reality

I looked at the Trop for lodging and found that the discount code is only good for a basic room for the two intermediate nights of a workshop (looking at SRW). Is there any way around that to get a discount across more nights (Thursday and Sunday in particular)?
