If you've attended a previous CGW, where did you stay during your trip? If the poll options don't describe your situation, please explain. I'm trying to get a feel for how many people actually stayed out the hotel where CGW was hosted vs. staying someplace else. |

I was at CGW #2 and #3 and stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations at the Flamingo. It was the pinkish building set behind the Flamingo. I voted for "on-Strip" because technically it is. I didn't stay at the Flamingo itself so I can't vote for "same hotel as conference". |

Just like Daan, I stayed at the Flamingo for CGW5, but for CGW1 I stayed at the Imperial next door. Also, agreed that the Flamingo was the better choice, even though it cost slightly more. The convenience of being right there outweighed the cost. _____________________________ Visit me at Casual Kitchen! Cook More. Think More. Spend Less. |

#1 - Orleans #2 - IP # 3 and #5 Off Strip other By far, I prefer the off strip other place which had a kitchen and separate bed room/living room and free wired internet. I was able to do this because I drove instead of flew and had some extra time to play. Cheers! P.S. Did anyone attend all of the workshop? Other than staff I mean... |

For CGW 4, I stayed at Bill's For CGW 5, I stayed at Holiday's house, who is a local and was also attending CGW for the first three nights. My last night, I ended up with a suite at Bill's and shared it with two other CGWers who had an early flight the next morning. Both were great experiences. |

Two times: (CGW 1) on strip at different hotel (IP). (CGW 2) off-strip (?) vacation condo (It was Las Vegas Blvd S, so technically the same physical street, but down below the airport). I answered the poll w/ first one. |

#5 - Flamingo I'm pleased I did. I had considered the Stratosphere, but after actually being in Vegas I realised how this would have been a dumb idea. Being on site allowed me to rest for a few minutes in my room each lunch break, and as I totally underestimated the effects of the flight, this was pretty important! |

I stayed at the Flamingo for CGW #3. My room was located on the facing the courtyard. It was quiet and peaceful. I absolutely loved walking through the courtyard at night. I chose the most convenient location and it was great for my first time. If given the opportunity to go again, I think that I would take a more economical route and challenge myself to keep the budget as low as possible as an exercise in its own. |
