If I had to use one word to sum up the experience that word would have to be AMAZING! It was truly wonderful!! On Thursday we had the pre-workshop meetup which was nice. It was great to meet some people and instead of "how are you" "what do you do for a living" "how many children do you have" it was all like : So, what do you want to get out of the workshop? Why are you here? etc. The first day of the workshop, to be honest, was a bit of a blur for me. I was still feeling pretty ill, and looking back I probably still had a fever. But, the exercises were fun to do. Somehow the entire workshop experience is mixed in my mind... I cannot really remember what happened when.. My 2 intentions were career related and social relationships. With regards to career, I know now what I want to do, and I have a plan for doing that It came out in the message vs medium that I realized that I do know the message, I just got it too confused with the medium! With the social part there was one part where we all had to go out and just start talking to people and see if they would be a good match for what we were looking for (romantic, friendship, business partner etc) and move on to the next if not. I started to realize during this exercise that I had been having trouble making friends because 1. I had this crazy idea that it was difficult making friends (it's not!) and 2. I always just accepted everyone, and then got disappointed in them. Now I know what I am looking for in friends it makes so much more sense to go out and look for them instead of waiting for them to magically appear on my doorstep! Outside of the workshop I had one life changing conversation. Lots of great conversations, but one life changing conversation. We were talking with a small group and we had a miss communication happening. That happens. But, instead (as would most of the time happen in real life) to just ignore it, or let it go, we talked it out. And (at least I) felt so much more closer after that! We stayed up talking all night. We got kicked out of the Caesars food court and talked some more in another area, until 4am. That was so wonderful!! And I was in costume on Sunday (see my facebook pics Lots of people from the CGW and even some strangers on the street came up to me and told me I looked pretty!!! We went dancing and that was lots of fun as well. Horrible music but great dancing. Especially from Chris. That guy can MOVE!! I am way too tired still. Almost 7 days non stop socializing and talking and learning and having breakthrough after breakthrough does make you a bit tired. I slept about 14 hours last night, and I have a feeling I could go to bed right now and do the same thing again.... |

Important news as well... cannot believe I forgot to mention this I will not be on the forums as much anymore. I'll be online here 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening, and that's it. I've been wanting to do lots of things, but I've been using the forum as a reason to not do things. And honestly... after 2 hours I've read everything interesting. The rest is just fluff and I can do without that. It is time to get out into the real world and start living a real life as opposed to a virtual life |

| Not going to be doing a bookstore. I'd love to, but that would be kinda dumb... seeing as small bookstores everywhere are disappearing. And that is ok, actually. I love being in bookstores and yes I could spend my life in one, but that also would have been part of the same message. Which is; Helping people remember how amazing they are! It is sort of what you are doing as well. Helping people get over (away from, choose something else) their gremlins. That's what I want to be doing. But I have a lot to learn still, because I can say that this is what I can do. So I'm going to (finally!!) write my fiction book, learn a LOT (probably do a land mark forum before the NLP course starts), build up my will power and will start by one-on-one therapy (coaching, therapy, help, whatever you want to call it) and go on into teaching at some point. I will also be writing about it, later on. But instead of making it a "normal blog" with advice, I want to write peoples personal stories, their struggles and how they over came those. So that everyone can learn from that. It is ambitious, at least it is for me, but I'm feeling wonderful just thinking about it!! Oh, and once I've done the NLP Practitioner and Master I'll be bothering you (Angela) to teach me your technique as well It really was too bad you weren't there. You would have loved connecting with everybody as well! So many amazing people in 1 room!! |

I was really sorry to have missed everybody. It looks like I'll probably be reviewing the Forum and Advanced Course, hopefully with LOL-man, so maybe our timeframes will match up on that ... that would be fun! I am totally inspired by your direction and passion! |

Sandra, Your talking to me that other night was amazing, you are so amazing! I feel so lucky to call you my true friend. It really did lead to a closer bond between all of us. While I went to the workshop to focus on health and finance mainly, the social breakthrough that night was the biggest thing I'm taking with me. Thank you so much! I know you'll be a fantastic catalyst for transformation when you're a counselor. |

You and some others (I'm kinda hesitant calling out real names on the forum if others don't do it first...) should really come to Mexico and we'll have an amazing road trip!!

But thank you for reminding me that once I do find something that could make me different from Amazon, it could still be interesting to do. So it is something that I will still keep in mind and might be doing something with later on. It's just not an immediate business plan at the moment.

Sounds great, Sandra. I'm glad you had an AWESOME time. Yeah, 4 hours on the forum every day is definitely more than enough. I bet you could get that down to 1 hour (or even less) in the morning and evening and still see everything you want to. |

The Caesar's food court evening truly was epic! I still can't believe they kicked us out, so much for Vegas being a 24hour city We arrived at the food court at just before 8pm, and left the Flamingo at 5am. 9 hours of constant intelligent discussion, it was amazing.... just the sort of thing I really enjoy! I totally agree with everything you said. I know I valued the social connections I made outside the workshop equally to what happened inside the workshop. Some breakthroughs here as well! Well done with the start of the 2 hour session plan, sounds like it's working very well. Oli |

So once I've seen everything I wanted to see, I log off and don't look back. So far it is working

So happy that you had this breakthrough! Sounds like CGW was exactly what you needed. I see you are offline already! Not to put a negative spin on anything, but I'm just thinking about Steve's warning of the "gung-ho" effect that wears-off eventually. Do you have some accountability system that will keep you on track when the going gets tough? Since you plan to do an NLP course next, hopefully this will keep you moving forward. Again congrats, know how hard you have worked. How do I get to see the pics on facebook? |

Sandra, you have said that the time limit is working and you are not looking back. However is the time you are saving translating into anything positive, eg getting more done, ect? Or have you not had enough time at home to actually quantify this yet?

What I have been wanting to do is feeling bored and therefor wanting to go online... but if I already had my morning or evening session it is much easier now to just say no Quote:
But that is ok, I know it is my body resting up so it can get completely better. Next week I'm going to do my morning pages (starting on monday) and get together the spansish speaking Skype group and get together they MasterMind group and start my own MeetUp group. The week after that (providing I'm all better again) I'll start going to the gym. The week after that, I want to alternate between going to the gym and going to a museum or something similar. And I'll be writing as well starting this Monday. But none of those are "goals" yet for which I need or want accountability. They are just options of what I can do. (besides... my wonderful darling husband bought me Fable 3, so that will take up some time as well, until I can say that I am completely 100% better).
