 |  Weds night/Thursday afternoon and dinner thread, take 2
HI folks, The other thread is a bit unruly, so I thought it'd be better to post my contact info here. Ok, let me try this... Oh, first, my name is Chris, and my number is (PM for number) Wednesday night I'll be arriving Weds and probably get to the Flamingo at 10 or so. If any of you want to grab a bite to eat and/or walk around the strip, give me a ring. Thursday Afternoon There was talk of a Thursday afternoon meeting in another thread. Would anyone care to be the contact person for that event? Thursday Evening I'll probably show up to the food court around 6:15. If you can't find us, give me a ring. A tip for international folks! Pick up a calling card. It's obviously not a necessity, but you'll get to dial a toll-free number and won't be charged insane hotel long distance charges. A $5 card should be enough. (Oh, just so you know, that's the first calling card site that came up when I searched for "US calling cards". There may be other sites that are much better). Can't wait to meet you all next week  |

Oh didn't see you posted your number here - I'm in for the Wednesday-night dinner and a stroll down the strip  - People want to join me for foodshopping Wednesday-afternoon? Preferably in some 'green' Vegasshops. But I also don't mind going to a supermarket  EDIT: we will meet up at 4 pm a the entrance of the flamingo! I don't know how long it generally takes from the airport to the strip? I prefer public transport. After checking in and showering, I'm free - What are the plans for Thursday afternoon? I love long exploratory expeditions  I could be the contactperson, I'll get an American simcard. The ATT gophone SIM card 2$/day seems good. There's a Whole Foods at the south end of the strip. I lot of people go there in the beginning to stock up on fruits and snacks. Travel from the airport to the Flamingo should only be like 10 minutes. |

My plan is arriving at 12 on Thursday. Having a lunch with a friend. Getting in my room, settled and depending on how tired I feel take a nap, or call Chris to see where you guys are hanging out to meet up Edit: Anyone got blackberry to chat? Or smart phones to email? (cheaper then texting or calling for me). |

I am in for all of the above. Wednesday night, though by 10 i will probably have eaten, but will join in, and thursday afternoon into dinner. I do have email, however still trying to find somewhere to buy a usb internet thingy, as I am refusing to pay $14 for internet a day. At this point just going to a cafe, but i dont like that inconvienience either. |

Whoohoo, I'm so excited. I'm scheduled to be there: Thursday @ 6:35AM (10/28) and leave on Tuesday @8:20AM (11/02) I plan on being at the Caesar's meetup. See you all soon! Oh, and if anyone wants to swap phone numbers, just PM me. |
