The lunchs and dinners thread :)
If you have an idea of what kind of cuisine you want to check out in Vegas, give this website a go. They sell gift certs and today they are running the 80% off special (I THINK it's only for certs of $25 or more). So a $25 gift cert will cost $2 (the $25 certs normally go for $10).
To get the offer, use the Promo Code: ENJOY.
As far as I know, the code is only good for today (10/7/10)
1. Read the fine print. Most do require an additional purchase (usually $35 total spent on a $25 cert). Most won't allow alcohol. Some allow you to use the cert only for lunch, others only for dinner. So, give the fine print a good lookover.
2. Map it. There are a few venues on the strip, but most are off strip. I also used Yelp to check out the ratings of the restaurants I was interested in.
3. If you are looking for a partner(s), post your selections here. I got a $25 cert to an Indian restaurant, and there is nooo way I can order $35 by myself. So, I'd love a partner.
I know this requires a bit more advanced planning, but, if you are like me and on a budget, it may be worth it to pick up at least 2 or 3.
PS: Dearest moderators,
Here's the reason I"m posting this...
It can save workshop attendees loads of money.
I'm not posting an affiliate link, and I have no stake in the financial performance of the coupon company.
