CGW Call #39 - Sunday, September 26, 8 am PDT

Hello everybody!

As Alex Portillo will be out for this week I will host the call.


If anybody wants to take part in it.

Last week nobody except us showed up.
So I am in doubt whether it is worth correcting my plans for such an inspiring event that calls usually are - or not, as my perceptions of it are just fantasies.

Please let me know here if you will take part in a call.
The rule "a group of past participants know the schedule and somebody will show up" turned out not to work.
The rule "we don't know exactly whether we will take part so either we or other dont-knowers will show up" - as well.

Please make a desicion to take part and commit to it by writing publicly.




Information for those who decide to take part.
How
1. Register at Skype.
2. Upload a bit information about yourself in your profile in Skype (name, surname, age, where are you from).
It would be your first step in introducting yourself to others, and a very effective one as I suppose.
3. Send a request to add me as a friend. My Skype login is pavelnosikov.

The topic
During the call #37 we agreed to try to hold call this way:

1. Challenges - if you have any challenge or a support in anything specific we can brainstorm and offer you a decision.
2. Priorities. What were you focused on this week and what you plan to focus on next week.
With many new participants we can speak about overall priorities as well as for most of us we don't know each other ones.
3. Results. What have you achieved following your priorities.
4. Opportunities. We share our opportunities and what we plan to get.
5. Anything you want to add. We stay open to present moment, so say anything you feel natural to the conversation.

Hi Pavel,

I plan to be there this week. I could not participate last week because I was out of town with no internet access. But, you knew that because we talked about it.

I enjoy the calls and plan to participate every week unless something comes up that prevents me from doing so. I rarely post here to express my intent. I usually do that on the call itself.

Let me just tell you how much I appreciate your committment to the calls and for making an effort to show up every week. That goes for you too, Alex, if you are reading this.

Personally, I am a bit surprised how long it has continued since Mattyblu (who started them) has not been able to continue with his participation. To me, each call is like a little gift. Each time I think it might be the last one because interest seems to have waned over time. But, I don't really care. I will participate as long as there is someone there who wants to chat.

It was interesting, long-lasting and unusual call where women for 30 minutes outnumbered men! (i.e. me)

The link to the foundation I talked during the call is Teach A Man To Fish : Home Page - Education That Pays For Itself
The idea consists of making schools in rural and poor areas in countries self-sustainable while making its pupils entrepreneurs escaping from poverty.

I also posted a link to a site of Raam Dev. He is the person who lost the interest in things that doesn't help other people in their lives while being in his dream journey in Asia.

I found his site at Niall Doherty's site. Niall took part in our calls earlier, I find his site as well as his Facebook very interesing and inspiring.
