 |  Announcing CGW Skype Meetup #23, Sunday May 30 @ 9am Pacific
CGW Skype Meetup #23: May 30/09:00 AM Pacific (UTC-7) May is almost over and summer is in the air. Join us this Sunday for a heart to heart talk about conscious growth. Date: Sunday, May 30 Start Time: 9 AM Pacific, 12:00 noon Eastern Approximate Length: Two hours Our friend Matty is getting settled in his new locale of Portland, Oregon. We're hoping he can still join us this week by phone. We'd love to have you join us regardless of whether you've been to a CGW. If you're on the fence about going to a future CGW, this meetup is a great opportunity to meet people and get a better idea about the community. If you're not already on the call list, add user name: wuconomist to your Skype contacts list. If you hop on Skype on Sunday, be sure you send me a message if you haven't been added to the call list and you would like to attend. In recent weeks we've had some technical issues when there have been a lot of people on the call. If we don't successfully launch a call with everyone on it, we may split the group into 2 smaller groups so as not to overload Skype's capabilities. Because of some restrictions that Skype places on us, I often have to move people to and from the call list, so if you're online when meetup time comes and you're not on the list, send me a message and I'll make sure you're taken care of. Basically, we just listen to each other and give feedback on whatever each person wants to share with the group. You don't have to talk if you don't want to. You can just listen. Or, you can simply choose to type in the chat window. We often do that while someone is speaking as not to interrupt them until they are finished sharing. It is like a live forum, to me. I've gotten to know people that I met at both the workshop (I attended CGW#2) and from the forum. People dealing with all sorts of issues share concerns or victories regarding diet, starting a business, relationship issues...you know, the usual, LOL! I'm there most every week. I'm hooked!  Join us! The more support you can get, the better. The feedback you can get is invaluable and I highly recommend it. |

To All - Be sure to double check if you have me as a contact in Skype, if I don't, I can't call you. I've made a new list this week in order to be able to add/remove people as necessary, because we have a hard cap of 25 participants as dictated by Skype. I've already added a few people as contacts that weren't previously on my list. @ssandra - would be great to have you too You're more than welcome to attend!

@marc - aawwww, that's a pity! Well, I hope you don't miss us too much. @Gene - My intuition says no. But, we got a lot of people on the call list because some people attend occasionally. So I may have to trim and re-add as necessary. |

I've decided that I'll be there. I'm not sure if I'll say much, cause I don't much like talking on the phone, but it will be nice to get to know more people more personally. Just a quick question, because I really really have trouble with times... Quote:

Thanks to everyone on the call this week. I think we had some interesting discussion in addition to some very brave souls who shared their stories. @sandra - it was great to have you, hope you come back! Sorry if anyone felt like I interrogated or picked on them. Was trying to get people talking at the beginning but it seemed to work better later when I just shut up  |
