Hello all, I have completed my review of the CGW experience. I attended CGW1 and CGW2 and will be attending CGW3. In my review, I explain what I got out of CGW2 and how it evolved from CGW1. In my opinion, the workshop is an active process to be experienced; each time I go I will get something very different from it. My review describes in a great amount of detail, how I made the mental shift that made it possible for me to quit my job. My hope is that my story will help other workshoppers who are struggling to translate intentions into action examine what steps may be missing that would allow the shift to happen. Once I made the mental shift, taking the action was just a formality. It was a little but difficult to post the review this morning because it contains some late-breaking news on actions I took to disengage from a romantic relationship. Including this update in my review helps me solidify my intentions and keeps me accountable. Enjoy! Why I choose to attend Conscious Growth Workshop #3: An overview of the CGW Expe |

Sonya, I think it's much better to give a review of workshops several weeks, if not months after the workshop (as you have done, obviously). I think giving a review immediately after the workshop can be beneficial, but I believe there are a lot more profound effects on the mind that continue to occur for weeks/months after the workshop if you're in reflection mode. I'm always thinking about CGW & its people and comparing the environment of it to my current environment...and let's just say I'm always craving the CGW environment, even if my current environment is great |

Thanks guys for you support and comments. I am very excited about CGW3! @Jesse--feel free to call me Sonya. That is my real name. I chose Mabel as my user name because it has special meaning to me, but since I have no desire to have my identity hidden, I need to rethink that. Yup--I downloaded your e-book and will read it. I think we are on the same page in many areas and I look forward to learning more from you. @Kevin--you are so right about needing the time to reflect.... I wrote my review of CGW1 1.5 months after the workshop. I tried to write my review of CGW2 earlier, however I found it was like trying to review a sporting event before the game was even over! Even since I posted the review of CGW2, things have been a happening! I could very well see another article coming up with an update as well as with my specific intentions for CGW3. Just as I think it may be helpful for some people to read about the anatomy of quitting a job in great detail, it may be helpful to model how to get the most out of setting intentions and goals. I remember some time back reading a post from you on FB that your heart fills with joy everytime you see that somebody quit their job. I love and appreciate the good vibes and affirming energy you put out there! Sonya |

I really enjoyed your review, Sonya. I enjoy seeing the product of people who are open about their life. Not only is it quite beneficial for people in similar situations, I'm sure it has the added benefits such as increased courage, clarity, accountability, and so forth for yourself I'm attending CGW #3 as well, and I have been recently become Raw Foodist. Maybe I'll become one of you guinea pigs. -Marc |

Thanks for the support guys. I can tell you even in the short time since I posted the review things are shaping up nicely, in large part thanks to this very supportive community. @Munish--I appreciate your reaching out to me and letting me know that you found the tips I provided to be valuable. @Marc--Yeah! I'd love to have you as my guinea pig @Kevin--Good for you--kicking the habit before it had time to set in. |
