Default Cgw 4

I just sent in my registration for CGW 4 in July. I finally got the courage to register (did not tell anyone I know yet about it). Next step is to book the flight and hotel. As far as hotels go, I am trying to decide between Bill's and Imperial palace. Any recommendations? I am also debating on whether to leave Las Vegas on Monday or Tuesday. I am leaving this open for now, as I am interested in a side trip to Utah (mainly for the contrast from Nevada) and Colorado on the way back home.

Is anyone else on this thread planning on the July CGW? This one fit my current schedule the best, as July is usually a pretty quiet month. I am not looking forward to the heat, but I am anticipating that everything else will be worthwhile, based on other people's impression of the CGW.

I will see those of you who are going.

Congrats

Leave Tuesday. You'll meet some awesome people at CGW and you'll want that extra day to hang out. Those people who leave on Sunday night/Monday morning wish they could have stayed longer to hang out with those who were around longer.

If you can stay at Flamingo, which is a little more expensive, I'd recommend it. Very nice to stay at the same hotel the workshop is at.

I stayed at the El Cortez for free, included with air. Downtown Las Vegas. They drove me to the airport in a limo when i was done.

@Drywall,

Which airline did you book with to get the free hotel? How many nights were you there?

I may just stick with my hotel out of convenience, as it is right next to the Flamingo, and I can take my time getting up in the morning and not rush to the strip. However, I may still look into this option. Was the hotel good quality?

Question Registration by Mail

Did anyone register by mail? I sent in my registration with a check in the mail two weeks ago, but I have yet to get any confirmation that I registered. I keep checking my account on-line to see if the check cleared, but nothing. Maybe Pavlina LLC will process the payment at a much closer date to the July CGW, or the mail has not been opened yet? Has anyone done it this way for previous CGWs?

We don't check the PO box very often. I will be sure to go today to get your mail. Thanks for the heads up and stand by for confirmation in the next 24 hours.
