Default October 29-31 for a workshop?

The only weekend I can book the same room at the Flamingo in October is Oct 29-31. What are your thoughts on whether it would be a good idea to overlap Halloween? Might be an automatic no from people with kids, but most of our attendees don't have kids.

Could we make it a selling point? Conscious Costume Party? Group trick-or-treating?

I have to decide whether it would be better to switch weekends and book a different room, or if we should keep the same room and book it that weekend.

There are plenty of good weekends available for the Jul/Aug workshop, and the May one will be May 14-16.

Your thoughts on the October dates (if it matters to you)?

My best Halloween that I had so far had nothing to do with Halloween itself, as I was traveling during that time

I does not matter to me. I would be willing to go that weekend, but I am planning to attend the July/August session. I would attend on Halloween weekend if I felt like attending a second CGW.

Just my two cents.

I am planning to come to a CGW later this year after I move back to NZ. I'd love to come to a Halloween one, sounds like a lot of fun, especially if it involved costumes.

I'm definitely planning on going to a CGW this year. I agree with Anna that a Halloween one sounds great especially if it involves costumes. I'm normally not a huge Halloween person, but this would give me a good reason to get excited! If it doesn't have a Halloween theme, it still wouldn't matter.

I set the goal last night to make it to this CGW.

Its right after my birthday so it will be a nice present for myself.

A costume theme would be fun... probably for the last day.
