This is something that was bubbling within me at CGW#2, which was to find myself a place to move and live independently. Right now, I live with my parents, which is not a completely terrible situation.. but as with anything it has it's positives and negatives. One of the major drawbacks that I find to living at home right now is that I get drained of my energy, and constantly feel as if I'm in a low energy state. The high energy I was able to gain from CGW was absolutely amazing and it stayed with me for a good week.. and one month later, I see myself being dragged back into a lower vibrational state.. There's just this cloud at home, because of my parents expectations of me.. and my own complacency as I don't have to be as active living with my parents.. that really don't make a great mix.. Nevertheless.. that's my Planet A.. What I'd like to do, is to move to such a place where I can be in the presence of highly conscious people and preferably enjoy a warmer climate. Also, I know that having experienced a couple of phases living on my own, they were some of the most empowering experiences I've had and achieved major shifts in growth. So my question to you all is where would you recommend as good locations to move to and to be in the presence of highly conscious people? I'm currently working on fusing yoga and motivational speaking as a life path.. so that allows me to be open to practically any location.. Your thoughts would definitely be appreciated as I take the initial steps towards this empowering transition.. |

I second the Southern California call. I hear LA has the only regular CGW meetup going and there are lots of CGW people living in the area too, Merri (soon!), Eloy and Mike in San Diego. And the yoga/spiritual community seems to be thriving the few times I have been down there. But above all follow your intuition! You will be able to contribute through your teachings anywhere you go and will also attract high consciousness people wherever you go. WoooHooo for Mitesh! |

Matt Monarch and Angela Stokes Monarch used to live in Ojai (now they've left for Ecuador!!) so I bet there are TONS of raw foodies! Angela, I'd love to get in contact with you when I get to Santa Monica!

Thank You everyone!! Ha!.. I just read your wonderful suggestions.. and a short time later I get a phone call at home to which it reads "California" on the caller ID..lol.. it was my uncle from San Diego.. but nevertheless, quite a Synchronicity.. Intuitively, California feels like a right place.. there's no hesitation with my left-brain either.. Now I just have to figure out, what I can specifically offer there and to whom... I really want to expand my creativity.. |

I moved from So Cal to TN 10 yrs ago. Love it here!!! Everything I need is just 5-10 mins away, no traffic, just enough technology available to enable me to do what I need to do, lots of trees, lots of space between neighbors & not overly populated. Only downside is no Whole Foods (yet!!) & almost no direct flights to major cities (we travel for business a few times a yr).

It's almost as if my body is telling me that I'm better off in the midst of a high volume of people.. So personally, the best place would be in a place that is big.. yet accessible to havens of solitude.. (parks, wilderness, ocean..etc..) | |

Hey I'm biased, but Austin Texas is nice, and cost of living is way lower than Cali. We've got it all -- hippies, techies, university students, politicians, musicians, artists -- a very unique mix. 3 unitarian churches and 1 unity church, plenty of yoga studios, several natural grocers and farmers markets, raw food potlucks. Politically, we're a little oasis of Blue in a big sea of Red. We also have lots of city parks (and festivals), frisbee golf courses, and hike/bike trails and are just a couple of hours from Enchanted Rock, Pedernales Falls, and the Guadalupe River. |

I'm in the EXACT same situation, though I haven't been to the CGW. A lot of stuff keeps pointing me to Austin. Health wise I hear it's one of the best cities in the US. I gotta admit I'm scared to just up and move, but I'm sure that would be a tremendous growth experience. |
