Meditations and Affirmations

Hello everyone! As promised on yesterday's Skype meetup, I am posting the meditation that I read at the end of the call. If anyone comes across anything else particularly inspiring, add it to this thread!

This comes from Ernest Holmes' book The Science of Mind (1938 edition). He says "carefully read the meditation several times, phrase by phrase, endeavoring to realize the meaning of the words and trying to enter into the atmosphere of the thought. Having done this, meditate upon the words, following that meditation until you feel a sense of realization."

Love to the World

My Love goes out to every one in the world;
I do not exclude anything, for I love all Nature and everything that is.
My Love warms and lightens everything that it touches, and it goes out into all places.
The Love flowing through me is a Power to all who come into contact with it, and all feel and know that I love.
Love within me is Complete and Perfect.

Waterfall Guided Meditation

I have a couple more meditations I'd like to share, also from The Science of Mind.

Fullness of Light
The Light of Life is full within me and around me.
It shines forth into the Perfect Day.
O Light within, lighting my path to peace,
I adore and love You and I let You shine.
Go forth and bless all who come to You, Light within.
My Light radiates to all and through all.
My Light has come.

I Listen
I will listen for Thy voice, Inner Presence.
It will guide me and acquaint me with all knowledge.
Thy voice is sweet and tender; it is always kind and gentle.
O Lover of my Soul, how I adore Thee! How I love Thee!
How I love Thy voice; it thrills me with gladness and joy.
It fills me with peace and calm, and it soothes me.
It quiets me and gives me wonderful rest.
I listen, O Divine Speaker, I listen to Thee alone.
I listen for Thy voice.

Waterfall Guided Meditation

Thanks! I intend to record it ASAP, once I get a mic that doesn't sound like a waterfall itself like my MacBook

Yeah... I used a H4 Handy Recorder for some things I've done and really liked it! Excellent quality, and then you don't need to be near your computer, you can go into a padded room! And it has mics built in, and 2 gain settings.

I've also used a Sharp mini-disc recorder (model MD-SR60) which worked great! It was not as fancy and there's no built in mic, but it was good too!

The House of Love

I dwell in the house of Love.
My dwelling place is filled with peace and eternal calm.
Love attends me in my home of the Soul, and
Joy awaits upon me in the "Secret Place of the Most High."
My house is built for me by the hand of Love, and
I shall never leave this Home of the Spirit, for it is always present.
I shall abide in this home forevermore.

Here is the meditation from today's Skype meetup. It is from Catherine Ponder's book, The Prospering Power of Love.

Words by Emma Curtis Hopkins:
"Everything is really full of love for you... The good that is for you loves you as much as you love it. The good that is for you seeks you and will come flying to you if you see that what you love is love itself. All people will change when you know that they are love. We shall change toward all people when we know that we ourselves are formed out of love. All is love. There is nothing in all the universe but love."

Affirmation for a certain group of people and/or situation:
"Everything is really full of love for me, including those persons. The good that is for me in this situation loves me as much as I love it. The good that is for me in this matter now seeks me and comes flying to me as I behold this situation with love."

Affirmation for a sick loved one:
"I release you now to your highest good. I love you but I release you to complete freedom and complete health in whatever way is best. I am free and you are free."

Love Dissolves all Fear
Greater than fear is Love.
Love dissolves all fear, casts out all doubt and sets the captive free.
