How feasible would it be to undertake a raw cleanse while living in a hotel on center strip for 2 weeks? I am thinking it could be an ideal moment to take massive and profound positive action since my whole world will basically be turned upside down for my 6 weeks in the U.S. |

I found someone living in Vegas who will go raw with me for the 2 weeks. We will support each other, go shop at Whole Foods and he will let me use his Vitamix I would like tips for eating raw on the strip though, since it would feel better not to be completely dependent on one person for my food needs and wishes. |

At the cafe's in each hotel you could order a fruit plate (you usually have to ask them to leave off the banana bread and cottage cheese). or you could procure a salad by telling them what to throw in it and then using like olive oil and lemon. The Bellagio breakfast buffet usually serves fresh watermelon juice from the vitamix, and they offer some really awesome tasting fruit, better than you'll get in the cafe's. But it's an expensive buffet. Ther'es a Whole Foods fairly close to the strip where you'll be able to stock up on raw foods like nuts, raisins, etc. |

| Sorry for partially thread-jacking, but is that Whole Foods the one on Charleston over near Summerlin? If not, where's a closer one to the Strip? I was thinking about going to Trader Joe's or Fresh&Easy to grab supplies first but if I can't find what I want there I could hit up WF.

from: 3555 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (Flamingo Hotel) to: 6689 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas, NV 89119 (Whole Foods Market) - Google Maps (a=workshop b=whole foods) It's on the corner of I-215 and I-15, directly southwest of the Airport.

Seems to me going raw on the Strip is mainly a question of being able to afford it. It should be doable though with a bit creativity.
