How about a central thread for attendees of the upcoming CGW? If you're attending the CGW #2 and would like to make that known you can do it here. How about letting us know where you're coming from, how long you'll be in Vegas, where you're staying and any other info you consider relevant. I'm flying in from Zurich and will stay in Vegas for two weeks from January 6th til 20th at both the Paris and Flamingo hotels. After that I'll be staying in the U.S. for another whole month and enjoying vacation. The single most important intention I have for my time in Vegas is to meaningfully and positively connect with like vibrationed people. Filling the whole time with busy activity is not important to me at all. That said, outside of the workshop, I plan on attending a Toastmasters meeting, a meetup for professional musician attendees, and possibly trying to sky dive indoors. Trying the raw restaurant is also on my list of priorities. |

I'm from Israel. I'll be arriving from London on the 14th around 7PM, and leaving on the 17th around 10 PM. I'm basically in vegas only for the workshop. After that, I'm flying to DC for 10 days, NYC for 5 and London for 5, so I have around 3.5 weeks of vacation |

We are flying in on Thursday night kinda late and leaving Sunday after the conference...so I can't go to the Power House Pros meeting this time (darn it!). I will have to try to manifest some other stage time We are staying at the Imperial Palace and won't have a car. I plan to roll into differnent groups of folks in the evenings for dinner and hanging out opportunites. New idea for CGW #2: Organize raw/vegan deliveries in the morning for anyone that is interested. I will volunteer to run one order sheet and call in the order early in the AM...it would be cool if we could get at least one more person to handle the other option. Both the Go RAW cafe and The Vegan place (The Red something or other) said they would be happen to deliver...if we call in the order early... CHEERS! |

I was thinking wiht Red Velvet Cafe if people order lunch in advance, they can have it there and waiting at a certain time, but maybe we offer just a few options so they can mass make stuff. Like their wraps or something that can stay cold, and cookies for dessert. Oh, maybe they can make vegan lunch boxes: Wrap, chips, cookie and a drink for a certain price?

Just be aware we can't bring in any outside food to the conference center where the workshop is held. The hotel is pretty snippy about that. So if there's a mass ordering of food, it would have to be delivered somewhere other than the conference center.

It may not be an issue this time, because you made the lunch breaks 2 hours. Color me currently stumped and open for suggestions or votes to just dump the delivery idea. CHEERS!

I am arriving on the Wed before the workshop and leaving the Wed after the workshop. I am staying at the Imperial Palace. My phone # is 608-516-9866. I now have the national plan--woo hoo. I am interested in the raw food arrangements and like Erin's idea of ordering ahead and then having the food ready when you are at the restaurant. Also--the bus gets to Whole Foods pretty quickly and if there are people willing to drive there--that is fast too! There are lots of raw and vegan options there and I would almost rather go there more often that the raw food restaurants for some meals. I am considering getting a fridge for my room--which is $7.50 or $10.00 a day at Imperial Palace (can't remember which). The fridge is free if you need it for medical purposes. Thus the probiotics I take may qualify. So why am I going on and on about this? Another possibility would be to have potlucks or picnics in someones room or in one of the food courts. Aquiring food could actually take place the night before. Maximize good use of time, flexibility of food options and socializing. I am certainly willing to host and or organize food gatherings. |

Hi everyone it's Len here (full name Leonard Hall which I used for registration). Travelling in from Sydney, Australia, staying at the Flamingo, getting to Vegas on Thursday night and leaving Vegas on Monday night. I'm 100% raw so am very interested in raw food arrangements such as going with a group to a raw food cafe or restaurant! |

*raises hand* I'll be coming in from Alabama. My plans are to arrive in Vegas on Thursday, the 14th and depart on the 18th. I'll be staying at CircusCircus. After "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas", I just had to stay there at least once! Can't wait to meet everyone!! |

Hi! I'm super excited about attending the upcoming workshop. I'm Kevin and I live in Las Vegas and will be buying most of my lunches from the aforementioned Whole Foods; I'll be glad to pick up anything for anyone else who wants it. Looking forward to meeting you all! Kevin |

*raises hand* I'm SO there! Intention put simply: I love (re)establishing a comprehensive, coherent, inspiring perspective of my life and life path intentions. So many amazing changes have happened so fast over the past year by allowing intuitions, law of attraction, muscle testing, confidants' wisdom, following own heart... that my mind is having trouble catching up and making sense of myself. ("Oh! I'm going to be a massage therapist! With passive income and 'mini-retirement' intents! And have a B.Sci Biology & B.A. Sociology and massage license by July at age 23!") How do I want to consciously grow and live from here? How might I set up the conditions for continued awesomeness as life contexts and responsibilities change dramatically? Being a full-time student at age 22, I'm enthusiastically asking dozens of friends to help donate and offset the CGW cost as my Christmas wish. Plus the reasoned generosity of my father (and my own smart decisions over the years) makes it possible at all. Not to mention having found Pavlina over a year ago... life is amazing how things work out. I'm arriving Thursday evening and leaving early AM Monday. I'm seeking hosts rather than hotel, because I much prefer the personal richness of that experience when traveling short-term. I have requests pending. If you're an attendee living in Las Vegas and might want to host (I can crash on floor/couch), I encourage you to message me ASAP! Peace =) Alex from Seattle [Edit PS: ] I've also been exclaiming to growth-oriented friends, "Imagine what kinds of people I'll get to know and connect with! At a Conscious Growth Workshop by Pavlina!?!" I observe myself doing a bounce when I explain this to someone. I don't think I'm the only one looking forward to a room full of people attracted to this... PPS: Me @ CouchSurfing - AETHURIEL (For Facebook link, just ask.) It's going to be hard to beat Odyssey's enthusiasm, but it is contagious! I'm from Vancouver, Canada. I'll be in Vegas from midday Wed Jan 13 until late evening the following Wed, staying at the Imperial Palace. I can't wait to confer with fellow attendees and experience the much-talked-about workshop! |

I'm staying at the Tahitian Village (borrowing a condo from a friend) so I decided to get a rental car because it's a bit far south of the main strip. I'm planning on joining the Toastmasters meeting on Monday, and would like to check out some vegan and/or raw restaurants too. (Haven't been to Red Velvet!) The indoor skydiving idea also looks great! To get in touch prior to the event please PM me and we can trade numbers / contact info. -jack

I'm in as well - I'll be staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations Resort at the Flamingo. I like the Hilton GVRs since I can get a room with a full kitchen at my disposal. This makes it easier to eat due to food allergies (gluten-free, corn-free, peanut-free and potentially vegetarian). I'll be driving in from San Diego Wed. night and driving back Tues. morning. There's a few of us getting together before and after the conference to explore parts of the city. If you're interested, PM me for my contact/phone info as I don't like putting it on public forum sites. My sense for this workshop is to deepen my understanding of the principles of growth; however this is secondary to why I'm attending. It feels that I'll be serving others to foster their growth through through the exercises and discussions. This feels more like a creation event to me than an education event. It's a different spin to me but I welcome it. Looking forward to meeting all of you and having a great time in Vegas. Last edited by mikeschu; 12-19-2009 at 06:49 PM. Update: I now have a wonderful couple who will host me, living a 20-min bus ride east of the Flamingo, so I'm set for free housing! Now... the 20-minute bus is just a 4 minute car ride. So... win-win logic suggests someone offering to give me a ride in the mornings... =) especially if coming from the east. PM me if you're able/want to do that! Peace, Alex |

I'm going! A couple months ago I booked hotels for Jan 9th - Jan 12th (checkout on 12th). After this booking I found out about CGW and decided to go. I have yet to book additional hotel stays from 12th - 18th. My friend who I'm going to Vegas with pre-CGW suggested I just book the hotel after we arrive in Vegas. Do you guys have advice or insight to share on whether I should book in advanced now or after arriving in Vegas? Thanks! |

Although vacancies are higher with the weak economy, hotels have been temporarily closing down wings/towers and laying off staff to keep operations in line with demand, so fewer rooms are available.
