Hi everyone! I'm 23 years old. I've been playing poker professionally while going to college in Austin for the past 5 years. On my journey of personal development I've fortunately come to the realization that if I can create a living for myself off of poker, I can do so with many other things.

I am now on the path of being a contributor instead of a moocher. Instead of creating value for myself at the expense of others, I am fully committed to creating value for others while creating value for myself. I look forward to meeting and connecting with as many people as possible at CGW.

Although vacancies are higher with the weak economy, hotels have been temporarily closing down wings/towers and laying off staff to keep operations in line with demand, so fewer rooms are available.

I appreciate the quick response. I was able to book additional nights for a pretty good rate online.

Edit: How many people attended CGW #1 and are expected to show at CGW #2?

I'll be attending - I'm staying at the Flamingo Thursday-Tuesday. Flying in from Tampa, FL.

I'm vegan, sometimes raw, so I'll be glad to join anyone who's looking for good vegan meals while in town.

I'm genuinely excited about the conference. I read Steve's book back in November and found some profound kernels of wisdom in there.

So, here's to kicking off an abundant 2010 with a great conference, some new friends, and a better vision for the future.

I too first picked up the book in November, but didn't finish until December. Nice to see someone else is running around the track at a similar pace!

Just thought I'd also post here! I'm staying at circus from the 13-19th and even have an extra bed if someone needs a place to stay. I am very excited about attending and meeting some very open-minded people.

I feel in a rut. They say you become like your six closest friends, and that is the last thing I would like. It seems as if there are very few people interested in personal development around here (rural Kansas!) and that I have no one to talk to about this stuff. I have a very long way to go to get to where I'd like to be, and I know this workshop will be just the thing to give me a kick in the butt! Look forward to meeting everyone, safe travels and have a happy new year!

Hello,

This is Chris Williamson. I attended the CGW #1 and was impressed by the many fine people I met. Sadly, I had to travel immediately from CGW for 6 weeks straight to attend the World Master's Games in Sydney (won a Bronze!) and am only now getting my head back above water from all the catch up.

My apologies to all the great people for not connecting and following through as I should have. I hope that I can correct that in the coming weeks!

I will be arriving Wednesday morning and am staying at the MGM until late Sunday night. I welcome any and all to connect with me and hope to be actively involved in the social events surrounding CGW #2.

Just want to jump in and say WAY TO GO for everyone who has committed to attending...the power that is accumulating is almost throwing off sparks.

I will not be there and I am jealous, although I'm still enjoying the afterglow from CGW#1 and look forward enthusiastically to everyone's comments and feedback from this one. It will be even better for so many reasons, and you are in for a treat. You are going to have an incredible time - of that there is no doubt. Enjoy!!!

Oh my, the time as flown by since I registered mid December! I've finished reading the book and have made several changes already - but have a lot of room for growth. Like many others, I'm excited and nervous!

I'll be flying in from San Diego on Thursday and returning Sunday night. I'm staying at the Orleans. I'll have a car and can drive others to dinner, etc.
