Default Casual wear?

I tend to dress casual at events like the workshop. I am attempting to confirm that slacks and shirts without oil stains will be appropriate attire. Feedback anyone.

For a brief moment I considered showing up in well used farmers overalls and blue short sleeve work shirt, a pair of well used high topped work boots topped by an old cap with a provocative message on the hat. I did decide my costume would push me over the luggage allowance and was unwilling to pay the fee for extra luggage to observe the reactions of my fellow attendees. Maybe next time!

Casual is good. Be comfortable. Sometimes the room can get a little warm or cold depending, so dressing light but bringing a light jacket or shawl is sometimes warranted. Last time we took great pains to make sure the room was a comfortable temperature, but people have differnet ideas of what's comfy for sure.

Go versatile. I wore shorts & t-shirt indoors at CGW 1 and I was fine, but then going outside, even in October, I was uncomfortably cold. I imagine January will be even more so, with temps near freezing at night. Mind you, that's still a rotisserie oven compared to where I'm coming from It's also nice to have something a little more formal for going out in the evenings to dinner, shows, etc. I'll also pack something suitable for hiking in January weather!

As Erin said, the room is kept cool. I think I ended having to put my sweater on for a portion of the workshop. However, I tend to be quite sensitive to cold, more so than most people.

Awe. If you really observe to judge your fellow attendee's reaction, and help them to practice loving unconditionally, I can take you to a thrift store before the workshop

That has some appeal to me. I suppose after selecting a wardrobe at the thrift store we could find something that has a terrible odor and slather it on self and clothes. Are you sure you you would not only take me to the thrift store but also give me a ride back from the thrift store?

I don't know about that. That might keep you from getting hugged, and we don't want to impede hugging!

Nope, not sure at all.
