I just got the initial DVD masters from the video guy today. There are 8 DVDs total.

I still have to watch them and see if any more edits are needed. But given the massive changes that occurred in my life after the live workshop, I'm a little trepidatious about watching the DVDs... like I might spontaneously combust or something.

I thought about doing that, but it probably wouldn't be fun for other people to watch with me since this is an editing pass. I'll probably be pausing it a lot to jot down editing notes. Maybe I could have a small screening for the final version, but it could take days to watch the whole thing, so I probably won't bother.

I can't offer an accurate estimate because this is the first time I've done this, so I have no idea how much more editing may be required, how long it will take for a designer to do the cover design, how long it will take to duplicate a certain number of DVD sets, etc.

My goal is to get it shipped by the end of the year, but I can't say if that's realistic. Once I've gone through this process once or twice, I'll have a better idea of how to estimate it.

Toastmasters-kind-people might also enjoy to take part in watching an editing pass and give their own feedback about what should be edited.

If you re-read Steve's posts, he does not promise having it ready at the end of the year 2009.

Hello Yogi,

thanks for pointing out my mistake but intentionally i am not blaming or rude to steve for not giving the DVD sets early. i am just impatience because i am hearing so much positive experience in the workshop that i wanted to be in the workshop but i am unable to make it happen that is why i am impatience and wanted to have that experience of workshop through the DVD sets. but i am not rude to any body or Steve Pavlina if i sound like i am rude than it is my mistake and i have to be very careful by choosing the right word but when i write this than i am write what comes in my mind.

Steve, I don't quite know about the context of this, but does that imply that we are going to be videotaped at the CGW???
