I was looking at attending CGW2, and at first was just looking at flying in Thu, doing the workshop Fri-Sun, and flying out Mon. But looking at the forum it seems like people are making a whole week or so out of this. What do people recommend?

I went to the first one, and for this second one, I plan to fly in on Wednesday and fly out on Tuesday. Spending time with people is the best part of the weekend.

Some people will no doubt head over to our toastmaster meeting (Powerhouse Pros) on Monday night (6:15pm to 7:45pm)

Last time people went hiking on Monday morning. It will be pretty cold in red rock canyon though so that would have to be considered.

There are lots of shows, there's a nice shopping mall nearby, and attractions inside each casino.

I came Thursday night and left Monday morning, this time I'm planning Wednesday to Tuesday. Hanging out and talking with the other folks was great, and as Erin said, there are lots of shows and attractions.

My tentative plan is fly in Thurs, fly out Tuesday. I've been to 2 conferences in Vegas and I enjoy at least one extra day to have fun xo

This time I'm thinking Wed-Wed or Wed-Tue with a little excursion afterwards to Sedona. Hanging out with kindred spirits is way worth it.

Okay, I'm booked now to arrive in the late afternoon Wednesday the 13th, and I'm staying till the morning of Wednesday the 20th, at Bill's Gamblin' Hall hotel (next door to the Flamingo). Woohoo!

I'm flying in on the 6th and will stay til around the 20th. Haven't booked a hotel yet though.
