 |  Toronto Reunion/Meetup
I'm planning on being in Toronto the weekend of October 16-18, and I was thinking... why not do a meetup and reunion in Toronto for those who attended the workshop and anyone else who is interested in joining for the fun? Specifically I had in mind getting together on Saturday (Oct 17) afternoon at a coffee/tea shop, or even for dinner and then hanging out somewhere in central Toronto. I'm open to ideas as well as for any assistance in finding a good venue. I hear TO has some good vegan restaurants, one of which is very reasonably priced. I hope also at this meet-up to do some exercises together - taking turns discussing an area of our lives and asking for comments from others as to our alignment with the principles of TLP, or even going out onto the street and exercising our courage muscles (perhaps by saying something stupid to a stranger). I anticipate to have lots of fun, and creative an atmosphere of trust and growth that those of us at the workshop were able to experience. Reply here or PM me if you're interested. I'd really appreciate venue suggestions from people who know TO. |

The location will likely be the Fresh vegan cafe/juice bar on Bloor street: Fresh Restaurants - Gourmet Vegetarian Dining Restaurant in Toronto Gourmet Vegetarian Dining Restaurants It's very close to a TTC station, so transport should be easy. I'm thinking of meeting up at a time like 12:30, although that might change if everyone prefers an afternoon meetup instead. The meetup is all about making face-to-face connections with other people in the area. My experience from the CGW in Las Vegas showed me that magical things happen when you get a bunch of highly conscious people together ;o) If you're on the fence, take the leap and join us! Derek, I can't change it this time (I'm very conveniently being hosted by a friend for the weekend) but if all goes well there will be another TO meetup in the future. It's a big city and there are quite a few conscious people there  |

Derek, I'm in Toronto and can arrange a meet-up for the Saturday you're in town. The more the merrier, as long as we're all into personal growth and development! I'll put something up on craigslist for the day you're in, IF you can confirm...even if if it's just us I'd be honoured to meet you and am always up for having a new friend. Shauna/Alex I can just imagine how much fun you guys will have meeting up. I wish I could be there. Shauna you probably already know but the person who started the thread for the pre-workshop meetup lives in Tornoto and uses the screen name Sqiu. Did you meet him? I had wanted to but I don't think I did. Oh, and happy Thanksgiving to you both. I love Thanksgiving-great time for connections. Alexandra |

My FAV vegan restaurant is in TO, and it's called Fressen. They also have some raw items there, and they are delicious! However, if you want to have the best chocolate cake in the entire world (AND it's vegan), then go to either Fresh or Vegetarian Haven (they have the same cake at both places). It's sooo good I almost broke out all Meg Ryan from that scene in 'When Harry met Sally'. hahaha! |

Hello all the wonderful people from Steve's workshop, Somehow I missed this thread. Alexandra, thank you so much for remembering me. Yeah, too bad we didn't get chance to meet during the workshop. I am sure there will be another chance. Shauna has already contacted me for the meetup. Unfortunately I will have other commitment during that timeframe. But meetup is such a great idea to get people in Toronto area stay in touch and share something we all passionate about. We will try to make it a regular thing.
