Hi everybody, I'm Dragos and I come from Romania. You can find more about me on the About page in my signature blog. I come to learn and see new places. Been traveling a lot this year and since I read Steve's blog for about 4 years now, I decided his first workshop is something I just couldn't miss. From what I see in this thread (and from my high expectations as well) I'm sure I'll find a great, open and intelligent group of people there. Hi guys, how great to meet so many of you online before the event! I'm today packing my suitcase, to fly from Copenhagen to Vegas tomorrow. While in LV I'll be staying with close friends from my college days in Iowa -- wow, that was back in 2002 -- bonus I'm attending because StevePavlina.com, and then the book, have had much impact on my life. Especially in terms of how I look at the world, and how I progress to not having a job. I'm so looking forward to the vibe of over a hundred growth-seeking individuals in the same room. Hi everyone! I知 Taz from Australia and I値l be flying into Las Vegas on Wednesday. It痴 my first time traveling alone overseas, so I imagine I値l be spending my first day getting over jet-lag and getting my bearings, but after that I壇 love to check out some of local restaurants and get to know you all! I am attending Steve痴 workshop because his work has been the catalyst for many positive changes in my life and I知 ready to take the next step along my journey of personal growth. Sidney and Rachelle - cool to hear that there are some people from the 'motherland' I am Canadian too(grew up in Toronto) but live now in Boston. I am interested in checking out a Cirque du Soleil show also - I bet we could pull a group of interested parties together and get some tickets...Dragos - just started reading your blog in the past couple of weeks - looks like some great material there and I am looking forward to meeting you in person. Great that you are coming to LV all the way from Romania Looking forward to meeting lots of growth-oriented people. |

Hey all, I have an idea...how about we agree to use #pavlina as a twitter hash for the conference. We can use this hash to find each other before/during/after the conference and do to play-by-play for anyone that couldn't attend but would like to get some updates. What do you think? |

Hi everybody! I'm Matt, I'm from the Netherlands and I will be arriving wednesday evening. I'm really looking forward to meeting all of you I'll gladly join any social gathering on thursday. Cirque du Soleil sounds great too!Right now the place to be seems to the 'Carnaval Court Bar and Grill' at 6-7 pm? If anyone wants to meet earlier (maybe thursday around lunchtime?) just let met know. I'm not sure if I will be able to access the internet in Las Vegas, so any certainty about where we could meet before I enter the airplane would be great |

Caesar's Palace is across the street from Harrah's, and they have an indoor food court inside the casino (right next to the inside entrance to the Forum Shops area) with lots of seating. There are some soft chairs and couches in front of the coffee bar there. That could make for a good meet-up spot on a hot day. The couches could probably seat about a dozen people, but there are lots of chairs and tables in the area where you could spread out if you get 15+ people showing up.

Ok...anyone interested in the hub phone number...please PM me and I will provide you my cell phone number. It might be a smart idea to have more than one hub number in case someone has any lack of service "dead zone" issues somewhere in LV. I would still like to do the twitter hash deal...but I need WIFI for my twitter (on an IPOD touch)...so I don't know what the WIFI situation is like on the LV strip. CHEERS! |

I'll be arriving from the UK on late Wednesday evening too. I'd like to know details of the meetup before I board my plane  The majority seem to be in favour of a Thursday evening meet up. Let's take Steve's suggestion and set the meetup place at Caesar's Palace, for 6:30pm and onwards. If anyone has any other suggestions, shoot. Otherwise, Caesar's Palace on Thursday at 6:30pm and onwards is cool. Whoever arrives first has the creative mission of identifying themselves as part of the meetup to let others know. (I don't know how large the place is.)@Matt: I'll be exploring Vegas all day on Thursday, if you're cool with it, let's meet up at the above place at 12:00 for lunch - anyone else around on Thursday is welcome to join us! @Steve: Any suggestions for a great salad/fruit buffet bar? I vote for a big blue and red sign with bold white text that says "SMART PEOPLE ONLY". It might even attract those smart people just hanging out on a Thursday night to join in the workshop I'll be giving that number a call on Thursday Alex, thanks for being fearless of phone-spam  |

eeeee I'm starting to get excited! Should be a blast! About going to see Cirque and for anyone who's interested - I've been told from a friend who went recently that it's pretty essential to buy Advanced tickets for Cirque, because it sells out all the time. That being said, maybe those of us who are interested could decide what night we'd like to go and then book tickets online... ? What do others think of this suggestion? |

You could put a copy of Steve's book on the table as your "sign." Depending on how many people show up, you will almost certainly need to move to the chairs. There are only a few couches at the coffee place and it could be full with other people. So look around when you get there. As for Cirque, there are like 5 different Cirque shows so you may want to coordinate which one you go to. And they do often sell out. Chances are good you won't all be able to sit together so it may be more trouble than it's worth to try to coordinate a group seating/ticket thing. |

Hello everyone. My wife and I will be coming to the workshop. Our flight arrives about 4pm Thursday, would love to meet up with some attendees that evening. I've been reading Steve's blog since mid-2005 if memory serves me right. Looking to meeting the man, the myth, the legend himself and meeting like minded people as well. I'm on twitter @rusellcrosswy and I'll use the #pavlina hashtag to help other tweeple find me or follow the workshop. Been to Las Vegas before about 2 years ago and enjoyed it, I'm not much a gambler though so I enjoyed exploring and seeing the sites while I was there.
