| Are you on your way Up… or on the way Down…??? I've heard it said many times in motivational seminars, "Your present situation is of little importance… it's where you’re heading that matters…" So, what about you… is your ship sailing toward the good life… or spiraling aimlessly to nowhere city…??? . |

| I think life experiences work pretty much the same way as vacations, which I believe are either great trips or great stories, yet rarely both a the same time. So when I'm heading up at the moment, fantastic. And when I'm heading down, I'm taking notes so I'll be ready to tell the story, because as scary as things might be, I *know* it'll be a great story--humorous, character building, or otherwise--in hindsight. I find this perspective not only let's me enjoy the ride wherever it takes me, it also keeps me on the up and up most of the time.

| i'm prettttyyyyy sure that i'm heading up. the current school situation is kind of crappy, but if i can stick it out, it'll be worth it in the long run. (and then i'll start heading up.) but i also went through a phase where i was "spiraling aimlessly," and i have to say...i'm very glad that i went through that. |
